I take it that means you will soon be seen dragging it down to the seafront at Rhyl to not sell any ice-cream

I want this so much but it's 444 miles from me. Bring on the stupid collection which will involve many shitters, trains, planes and possibly busses, and invariably a petrol station shot while keeping many people on a strange car forum hanging on my every post and possible FTP while hundreds of miles away from home.

I've always wanted a V6 Cavalier in manual flavour so this isn't the one. I hate these wheels as well, steels and trims for me (the V6 trims are superb).

I am liking it. But it needs cruise control, before I'm really interested.

When I was seriously into cavaliers (the mental illness is fading), I saw a *3.2 V6 fitted with a 6 speed, fitted into a Gsi Shell on Cavweb or Mk3cav.com or some Vauxhall forum.  I thought that could have been the ultimate sleeper if they'd gone for grey bumpers and steel wheels.

*I think it was a 3.2 block from a Vectra with the ancillaries off the 2.5 cav. I could be wrong.

Why is it that so many petrolheads cannot spell "brakes"?

Successive governments of both political sides, medaling (sic) in the education system. Plus lack of proof reading skills. No points lost in Gee-see-S-E 4 pour spelin c.

I blame Thatcher and everyone (who came after her) who failed to fix what she started to break, and instead made it worse.

Because several generations of liberal trendy educators haven't bothered with the three Rs leaving us with a whole population who can't spell, construct a sentence, or do simple mental arithmetic without a calculator

EFA

A lot of Johnnies who come here to improve their English are appalled by what they read and hear.

I'm honestly sad to say that the septics are generally in better command of the English language.

By which geographical phenomenon that escaped me did Lwowek Slaski end up in Ealing?

Quite so. Definitely more Acton way.

Meanwhile, here's a peach of a mk1 Cavalier:

They're not walnut all the way round. Some of it is cloth.

This is currently absurdly cheap for a complete-ish one of these.  Has apparent fuelling issues and I don't think the battery installation would pass an MOT, plus the owner can't spell, but still.

Dave2Ks had those and they were probably hideously expensive when new. This didn't stop them looking an awful lot like gloss lacquered bits of ply.

Jamaica yellow? No it was that colour when I bought it.$_1.JPGhttp://m.ebay.com/itm/152416602876?_mwBanner=1

Dear seller,

It's a 1.2L, it's not a GTE, GSi, or SR and never will be.

It will go a lot better (and look better) if you revert to the standard wheels and tyres. What's left of the original 55bhp will have less rubber to drag across the road.

That said, looks half decent if you ignore the Barrydom.
