Hello!

Not many of these left now shirly.

Also, and apologies for the negative spin, but there seems to be a glut of this bollox lately and it doesn't half wind me up - I'd like to think that no-one would ever be daft enough to fall for this nonsense but of course they do...

Asking £2995 for an X-plate Focus saloon with 115k miles and a tax-heavy 2.0 engine is a (not very funny) joke. Asking £5556.71 for an X-plate Focus is so far outside the realms of sanity I can't find the words to describe it. I really hope no-one falls for this.

On a lighter note, yes that is my Nova, I really have no idea now what its value is (whatever someone wants to pay for it I guess...) but it's clearly nowhere near what I had hoped. Main thing is it needs to go though, I have fingers crossed for a clean, straightforward transaction. :|

Representative 59.8%APR. Flat rate fixed interest of 30% per annum. 156 equal weekly repayments of £34.66. The total amount payable on loan is £5556.71. The cash cost of the car is £2995.

This must be as close to a tax of stupidity as is legal.

Yes, I think the same place advertised a pre-facelifted N16 series Nissan Almera 1.5. Once I crunched some numbers, the total repayment cost was not far off what the car cost the first owner when brand new.

I estimate that the main persons who run that place are built like brick shithouses and have plenty of tattoos.

I fail to see how some people can be stupid enough to fall for that.

Problem is, they'll continue running as there's always people with CCJ's and no Credit Score who will buy into it. However, unlike a Finance Agreement, if it blows up after a week, you'll keep paying until the end of time.

I looked into it once... I decided the Cavalier was going to stay.

On a much more positive note, this is a little gem

The later 1.1 with a cat is one of the slowest, most arthritic things I've driven but being pre-cat this should move along nicely enough. I reckon it would look better without the period stripe and poundshop wheel trims though, not sure what the Bonus edition came with but these look best on the bare silver steel wheels with centre caps IMHO.

What do you guys prefer SEATs as: Badge-engineered Fiats or badge-engineered VWs? (Need I ask, really...)

I like Marbellas but they are based on the 1980 designed Panda with the same mechanics and suspension. I think the post 85 Panda is a better car. That said, the 903cc lump is lifted from the Fiat 127 and is a great little engine which was also fitted to several Pandas (and Cinq and Sei in modified form) even after the FIRE engines were designed. If anything was left over in the parts bin and going spare at Fiat it most definately got used!

Late contender for brain donor/hopeless excuse of the year 2012:

'i bought this last month... put my sons moto x bike in and travel around racing i dont think it will go up a farm track across a boggy muddy field and even if it managed to i defo wont be putting his bike back in it covered in more sh0t if far to nice for that '

He then goes on to copy and past the bits from when he got it on eBay, including the bit about 20" alloys and a bodykit. Sounds the absolutely fucking ideal kind of thing for taking motocross bikes across shitty fields
