The Vec estate doesn't look bad and is fairly practical for what it is, but Vectras are deeply uninspiring things to drive. And I actually don't mind (some) Vauxhalls.

You'll get about 30 mpg on combined cycle from the V6 engine, which isn't bad. The engines are fairly tough although alternators can fail due to their (hot) location behind the back vee.

Yeah, you’ve opened the garage door, that’s more than enough, no need to actually roll the car out to photograph it.

It's Virgin Mary water bottle guy again...

Weren't these sold as the Strada in the UK, and not as the Ritmo?

Just wondering, what with the Ritmo badge on the back and all. Which would make an Irish car. But with UK plates?

If you squint hard enough the number plate reads EYERISH

I really don't need it and would prefer an auto ... but I'm currently the highest bidder with less than an hour to go ;)

That red maser looks like the best value one I have seen for a long time, normally they are either ridiculously overpriced or rotten beyond hope, that one seems to strike a pretty good balance. Plus its RHD, has intercoolers and still has its clock so its off to a great start before you have even put your hand through the sills.

Thanks Skattrd. I'd come very close to lobbing a bid on it myself, with the only comfort being that those seats look quite comfortable to sleep on...

I've run this past Berenice my Allegro VDP loving partner for translation.

OK so its a 304 Coupe

2 Owners from new

Dry stored and not run since 1992, floor mounted gears earlier 304 coupes were column shift. 4 Seats. Motor not seized. For Restoration. You'll need a low loader to collect.

If its not got a French CT its a bad sign as these are piss easy to pass.

I wonder if that Ital will be beat the 18 grand that Cortina with the similiar mileage made?

Probably not eh?

I rather like the Ital (but prefer that beige colour that Boll had once) ... But how come it only has one registered owner when it has been sold at least twice?
