£4K on a 55 plate? Presumably it comes with a shit load of LSD, let's face it the owner must be on something to hope for that much. Gorgeous car though.

C6 prices are still remarkably firm so if it's decent then £4k isn't a bad price. Doubt they'll ever reach the sub grand for a useable example level.

It's fit as fuck, though, isn't it?

Yeah but I remember buying them back in the day for well under a grand.

As scrap is on its arse, Lag2s (with 12month ticket) still £35 then?

The thing is that nobody wants the worry of owning one, so they are impossible to sell at any price, so you may as well hope for the moon, and price it like you are financing the next NASA mission to it.

So you are saying that when I buy one it won't be usable?

The worse part is it stops us reliving our youth. I'd bloody well love a KH250 or GT380 again, but not at todays prices :(

Anyhow, possible runner up in the hopeless picture category...

Good morning, Stupid & Co Customs, how may I he....

'You can even do fantasy designs?'

ANY-BLOODY-THING

'Nice one, can I have a sort of futuristic image of someone riding a trike up Ben Nevis to rescue his pet rubber duck which got blown there after the great storms of 2099?

Consider it done...

Hold the line please....there you go, sir, anything else?

Not convinced that prices asked relate to prices paid. I think it's more the case of infectious delusion. When they appear at £1500-2000 on fleabay they don't hand around long, the ones £3k plus are there forever it seems. There is one that keeps popping up at £7k but hasnt sold in about 18 months.

That yellow Metro is lovely and a credit to it's vendor. I'd still like to point a tazer gun at his bollocks though and forcibly make him throw those chequer plate floor mats into the sea.

I've been told that many parts are no longer available. Citroen have been deliberately destroying new old stock for some reason.

Sadly this is very common. NOS parts show on the inventory as a monetary value, scrap the parts the aren't moving and you (on paper) show that the business has less cash tied up in stock. Directors give themselves a bonus for improving their stock asset value / turnover ratio (Or some such bollocks)..

I've mentioned this on here before, but in the 90's I was working at Mitsubishi and I hold my hand up to disposing of all the UK stock of Lonsdale branded car audio into the skip.

Its not a new thing. 1990 I worked at a Vauxhall dealer and they decreed that about 60% of our parts stock was obsolete and should be binned.

Naturally we ignored them.

I tried to rescue stuff from the local Rover dealer when they were skipping it but was told by the guy doing it he would be sacked if any stuff went from it. Stupid in every possible sense.

Offside Rear Shock absorber has a slightly reduced damping effect (2.7.5)

I thought MOT man can only judge condition [mist of oil/ or: leaking on a FAIL] but not judgement on efficiency???
