I'm in love with this. Seen it on the M40 a few times and it does look good, then lo and behold it's being sold on facebook!

I remember when the TT came out all the press shots had those seats with that stitching and it look de-sex. Fast forward 15 years and that's the first physical car I've seen with them fitted it must have been a mega expensive option.

Although it does bug me the steering wheel and seats are a completely different shade of brown

Weren't those TT seats called Baseball Glove/ Mitt or something to do with the stitching, possibly only understood by our Colonial cousins.

Singer Chamois (1967) Green. I thought these had the slopey back pillars but it must be the Stilletos I guess.

The seller should really work on his sales patter. From his description I was expecting a wreck but a weekends welding (for someone more talented than me) would see a lovely usable classic.

I've always wondered how to pronounce the name.... Sham Mwah? Cham oi's? Shammy?

F*** it. It's a Singer Imp!

Sham-wah.  IIRC you could get a Chamois with the fastback roofline, but it didn't get a name-change with the new shape.  The fastback Hillman Imp was the Californian, and the equivalent Sunbeam was the Stiletto.  Just to confuse everybody, the saloon Sunbeam was an Imp, same as the Hillman.  Er, yeah...
