Well what a stir this little car has created since i bought it. It is a crowd stopper. It brightens up what would be a miserable day.

This car is NOT 'wrapped' it has been air brushed and i am astounded how people have the skill to do such work. the detail is unbelievable and is been done by one of the top people in the business by the look of it...(the companies name is in the back window). Its like a 'shed' on wheels. I have tried in the photos to show just some of the detail but the pictures dont do the car justice as its just wonderful in the flesh. It must have taken weeks to paint it like this.

This car would make a wonderful advertising vehicle or just take it to shows, you certainly wouldnt be 'out gunned'
Even the wheels have been airbrushed
The only vinyl on the car is the rear windows, but the vinyl has been done from photos of the paint and then transposed onto vinyl  as its the same but with other bits added...so not sure exactly how they have done but its just fantastic.

Car drives well, has had recent head gasket done, cambelt and new alternator..... its the Sporting version so has Abarth seats , alloys, sports dash etc....
You wont be disappointed with the paint finish in any way, it must have 20 coats of laquer it looks so deep. There is no damage to the paint, bumpers etc...car was originally yellow, hence interior is yellow.
This is not a car for you if you dont like being looked at,,,,, just drive it down your high street and see the reaction. Park it up and see how many people take pictures of it.....it will soon become famous....maybe so will you !!!!! Maybe could be used as an advertising car.....send some pics to agencies...
I dont have time otherwise i would use this car to make money for me....

So all in all a 'one off' unique master piece.....
I WILL CONSIDER A P/X SWAP DEAL CAR BIKE BOAT CLASSIC ETC ETC   TRY ME !!!!!

Have we had this Sapporo yet?

YES. On the same page.

It probably took more time to write 'have we had this yet' than to check the previous few posts..

Magoo.jpeg_zpsxleszs2q.gif

And whilst I'm in an uncharacteristically arsey mood, can people please stop all the posts that are quoting previous ones, complete with all the pictures and text, just to say some inane drivel that no-one cares about like 'ooh yes' or 'I like that'. That's what the 'like' button is for. This once fine thread is already clogged up with countless pearoasts and suchlike.

Aaaaaand relax.

Ref. That 4x4 Scenic, I asked the seller if he'd reconnect the prop so the 4WD could be tried and this is the reply;

No sorry, like I said I've got a new car so no more work will be done to this, if it doesn't sell it will be scrapped the gearbox hasn't changed it or anything the prop has just been removed

Thanks'

Time to swerve that one then I reckon.

Not seen one of these for any less than £1k for a while. Yes, it's a bit fucked but seems like it's being sold by morons..

RichardK/Lord Sterling would love this I'm sure (both for their own separate reasons). Maybe, if you could combine them both and create one entity - Richard Stirling (who sounds a bit like someone Roger Moore might play) - you'd have their perfect car up there ^^^

Can a camera be moved ever so slightly to the left?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Studebaker-commander-starliner-coupe-hot-rod-rat-rod-/161895340836

$_57.JPG

Nope.

Well, can it be moved ever so slightly to the right, then?

$_57.JPG

Nope.

Cameras are devices which are solidly mounted to their environment and can't be moved.

It is extremely difficult to position a car in front of them so that it is entirely in the picture.

No wonder people used to write songs about cars of this era. Just look at that thing.

Can't quite imagine anyone penning anything about a TDCi/S-Line/Bluemotion can you...? Unless it was some waffly softly sung version of an 80s hit, used simply to sell more of the things...
