Thanks for that Cavette;you just gave me several minutes of pure laughing pleasure !

I recon that 'Tina State will undergo some 'Minor paint rectification' and end up on a sunny gravel drive in the near future.

I wonder if the doctor would like a Proton :P That would surely have him catch a cold !

That Cortina is just utterly ace. I'd be slightly worried about the paint sprayer and mechanic with his fully equipped garage that hahsn't doen the minor work to get it through a test though.

Seems that the Retro Metal event that Merc is advertising was something not to be missed:

See how many depressing elements of life you can tick off from a single photo.

Blimey £16.5k for a pink Fulvia

Granted its a rarer Zagato, but you could pick up a HF for that. Hope it sells, so I can ask more for mine and H.Imps one!

I've been looking long and hard at this 'immaculate' Marina in 'showroom condition'. Usually the photos flatter a car but the paintwork I can see in these leave me feeling underwelmed. It could well just be the camera or perhaps it is povo-respray nastiness? Either way, how do you trust a description from someone who's clearly pissed or unwell....

Lovely original Citroen BX 1.9 GTI as mad as a box of frogs and delightful to drive and own.

There is a very extensive history file with this car and various spares that I have accumulated.

The car drives excellently, goes like a GTI is meant to, stops well, the suspension raises and lowers as it’s meant to, absolutely no complaints with the car at all.

Couple of faults with the car: rust on the window pillars the only place on the car, cracks in the windscreen at the bottom which do not affect the MOT and I broke the heating control knob on the dash, tried to turn it too far.

Alas, so many cars so little time, it has to go unfortunately.

Any questions just ask.

MOT to May 13

Road Tax to 31.12.12

Teeny tiny Honda.

You can always tell a really small car when it's barely three number plates wide!

That's a late one, didn't realise they were still making them in 1972.

Not an AS car really, but a 944 Turbo with MOT until May next year £2250 BIN seems damn cheap to me.

I beg to differ.

A metallic beige 944 has Autoshite written all over it!
