LOVE that 75 although the description says nothing of any issues but mentions it's a 'project' .

 

Still, it's a 20-year-old Alfa with 111,000 miles on it, shouldn't need much.

I hate them although they probably hide how horrendously messy the engine bay is. My mothers '11 plate Volvo V50 went for it's first MOT this year, the engine covers and underbody panels came up as an advisory!

anyone describing a CX estate as mid-sized is clearly from another planet.

 

Probably copied from Wikipedia, which uses American size classifications.  By '70s US standards, the CX was a mid-size car.
