If philbusmo buys that Thema and pre-books an MOT to drive it home I shall personally chip in a tenner towards his fuel bill.

Why is that thema called an 8.32? Did Lancia look at everyone else doing 1.6 and 2.0 then just come up witha random more impressive sounding number like we do with gr9?

It's on my watch list. I've just got an insurance quote on it, and is less than my 2.1TD XM to insure! I think £487.50 per year is a damn good price considering I'm 21.

Aye, under a monkey for a 21-year-old to insure a Ferrari engine isn't bad going really.  Buy it, bring it to a future AS event and let me have a go.  I've wanted to try one of these ever since I found out they existed when I was about 10.

Of course I'm in Devon and the car is in the Democratic People's Republic Of Scotland and it has no MOT or tax and has been in storage for 20 years.

Book an MOT down here and Megabus it up with a jump pack and a can of easy start. WCPGW?

These things are fugging hilarious.  I'd forgotten they even existed until I saw this one.  Basically a fake-offroad version of a City Express.

Having said that, £500 for a new, unregistered 29-year-old bike could be something of a bargain - you'd pay that for a new shitty Chinese 50, and I know which I'd rather be holding up the traffic on.

Ha! My older sister had a Honda PX50 like that when she turned 16. I pinched it once and went for a quick cruise up the back lanes. Seemed proper exiting at the time but I'd wager it'd seem pretty shit now.

I wouldn't drive that Thema anywhere until the belts had been changed (plus various other things). Don't forget that engine parts are Ferrari and not as cheap/robust as some other makes.

"The reliability of a Lancia with the running costs of a Ferrari" is one quote I remember for the 8.32

Cheap holey wobbly xr3i project. I'd really like this but as ever space is an issue. I recon the days of being able to pick up even a rust filled xr3 for 500 quidi are numbered

Looks nice and standard that late 88' spec on a G plate, rear spoiler appears to be missing though. Always wanted one of these MK4's but by the time I could insure one they were pretty gone all gone, in Mercury Grey though 8)

South of France but it's got a mere 62,000km and it and it's a diesel! 1000 euros seems like a right bargain...

That green Acclaim is on my watch list... I'd also like to get a look at the Hyacinth Rover off of Gumtree, but it's in Sussex so that's a bit out of my way.  I do like those, very much.
