Maxi with a small amount of rust and some hydrogas issues, cheap.

Lot 40 - 1980 Austin Morris Maxi (wbandsons.com)

If that sells anything near the guide prices then i'd say it was cheap. Hydrogas isnt too much of a biggie and welding is fun*

First registered September 1990, believed to have been a dealer demonstrator vehicle before being sold to the current keeper in February 1991. Showing 1 former keeper and only 36,000 miles

Low guide price as there's a bit of rust on the front wings and a lot of small scrapes and scratches.

Lot 5 - 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E (wbandsons.com)

Copper head gaskets used to be almost  infinitely reused. Take off, heat to cherry red, quench then use again.

I still do it with some 2 stroke bikes

My dad used to do it with a 1937 Morris 8 as he had 2 heads, one tuned and high comp for use with 4 star fuel. The other run on anything (even petrol parrafin mix) low compression. Copper head gaskets saved him a fortune.

Ok, its obviously VW based, but to my eyes it has something of the Daimler SP250 Dart about that bonnet line at the front

This doesn't look expensive for an old Yank at first glance. I love these Fuselage C-bodies

Annoyingly, though, it looks like it was wearing its original BEIGE paint until relatively recently. This guy has just primered it and made it look shit instead of fixing the fucked engine

Still, how complicated can one of these old V8s be, given it's basically a 50s design?
