I do recommend a Mk3 in general, if there are any left that aren't thoroughly worn out!

Of course, no 1.6 was ever offered in the MK3, I guess with it's extra size and the way the market had moved on, wasn't considered 'tolerable'.

Yes, no equivalent of your Mark 1 1.6 base, the lowest model was 1.8 LX.

Wonder if that's the one from Bangers & Cash that didn't sell through the auction?

Did Deutsch get a 1.6? I have a memory of getting a lift in a 1.6 wagen in Koln.

Ignore me. I'm getting my mk1s and mk3s mixed up.

This is probably utterly fucked, but it's still most of a Fiat 500 for 600 quid - must be worth that as spares surely.  @motorpunk?

Another hatchback built by communists with a sophisticated* 1.3-litre engine.

This one is in Wales, famous for its dry* climate. Probably one for the 'just fuckin' scrap it mate' thread, judging by the doors, tailgate and arches.

£450 or  £0.50 per kilogramme of rust.

Honestly there will be better ones coming even just for parts. It looks absolutely hanging, I don't know what you'd be able to salvage from it that you can't get new

When I woz a lad, there was a mini pickup that was used as a hack around the apple orchards where my grandad worked. Now they're £15k.

As someone who used to drive one of these for a few months, I'm happy to confirm if it was 15p it'd be too much money.

800 quid Granada. Shit advert with no actual details but looking at the pictures it could be a 2.9i manual 4x4

There's not MOT records for it so it must have been off the road a long time.

Odd spec hearing aid beige 190d 2.0 auto. Keep fit windows all round, steels &trims 😍, a manual sunroof & black mirrors but then someone decided to splash out on some  headlamp wipers, rear headrests and an outside temp display.  Seems a bit steep at £2200 BIN without MOT. NIce bit of black tape over the abs warning light as well.

Worth a click. The advert includes a 2-second clip of the seller doing the washing up

I've posted this here about a year ago. Since then it has deteriorated further and now has a new owner who hasn't done anything with it but now wants at least 700 quid more for it, yet he doesn't even know its correct name (its obviously not a Town Car):

This really looks like it used to be a great car. Ivory pearlescent (just like mine) and an ivory interior is a good color combo.
