There's one of those local to me, brush painted in a fetching dull green. It looks quite capable. And rusty.

Despite what I might have once said about Iv*cos being shit, these are 100% THE worst and most horrible vans ever made.

I'd actually consider voting Conservative if they promised to send all Ford Escorts from 1990 onwards to Rwanda.

Not sneering at this because it could be a good buy for someone: 2002 (late reg madness) 1.6 Puma for £1000 in Bedfordshire I think

Ulez free too.

Wonder if the 1.6 (and 1.4) are a bit disappointing to drive? Have only piloted a 1.7 which was such a laugh it's hard to imagine the others being anywhere near as much fun.

They're not bad really,  revvy Yamaha engines so good fun. 1. 7 has variable valve witchcraft so feels pokey.

Yep.  I've seen that thing somewhere before.

This chap reckons he's getting 250bhp from a 1.4 TDI Arosa.

To be fair it does look quite nippy in the video he posted, but I'm dubious that it's physically possible to get anything like that power out of one of those engines.

Hi here is my vw t2 it is everly rotterd not for that paint-hearted of some structural panels to go with the vehicle there is no engine or V5 the van is a 1968 and has a play behind the passenger seat does the true classic and it's a shame for it to go to waste

Might be interested , depends what the play is , I've seen The Mousetrap but if it's one I've not seen

"it is everly rotterd" sound Shakespearean to me. Paint-hearted could be almost a Macbeth reference too
