As you suggest, it is not true! 

 

MOT exempt doesn't hold much appeal for me though. It costs £40 and takes less than an hour. Saving that doesn't make enough difference to me to seek a car with that status.

1967 - BMC at its full pomp... just before naughty Donald Stokes came knocking. You can see everything that was wrong and right about BMC in that one car - innovation and some nice cool detailing but as austere inside as nun's cell. But a much better car than most 60's offerings. Looks ok...
