Some of the recoverable spares from that are worth it - the chrome door mirrors are like hen's teeth (unavailable new since the early 1990s) and are particularly sought-after by E24 Six owners.

To be fair, the FugStang had loads of uninspired styling competitors in the US market. One thing I can't quite understand is why American car stylists were consistently able to create some quite awful shapes or weird proportions.

Bit of an update: I asked the seller of this earlier if the paint work was damaged on the bonnet, or it had just been washed. Here's his response just now:

 

'Song is okay to Beachcroft its just been washed and cuddle'

i was looking at one on leboncoin or autoscout more base

in as nice condition and they wanted 5k euro

That's a mid to late 60's pemberton static a relative had one new used to be everywhere in the 70's.

Apparently there's a facelift Rover 45 somewhere in this picture.  For £250 BIN with MOT until next August I think the crappy photos can be forgiven though.
