That Cavalier is fantastic. Just needs a set of 13s with 155 tyres or whatever and those chunky trims.

Very clean mot history as well

If I were to buy anything it would have been that Carina E Exec from a page or two back. It only went for ~£750 but I'm pretty skint right now so I had to let it go.

Early Mk3 Cav in the spares section, currently v. cheap.

Only about 20 miles from Chester too. @Cavcraft

Cheers, submitted an early offer on this, but they replied they want £1,000 for it so I reckon a low end price will just be ignored.

the series 3 XJ saloon with pepperpot wheels is my most favorite version of the XJ saloon.

brown wouldn't be my choice, i think they look best in a dark colour, black or navy blue.

but brown is still good.

so much want - so little money.......

'6 owners 56k miles Been in storage for a while, should pass an MOT with needing nothing, very original rare car, £5000 no offers '

Tahir Rasool, Leeds.

You'd want a test on it (they rot like a bastard under that kit) but they're fucking ace things and incredibly rare now.

That's so much nicer than the owned fleetingly owned in 2006. Which threw a con rod through the engine block as i was travelling across the old runcorn bridge.

Ended up at £682 (I think) and now relisted with a buy it now of £650. Highly unsuspicious that.

Was the 8v 130 engine Vauxhalls best?

The 1988 SRi130 I had would say yes. I thrashed it for 40,000 miles in two years. In fact the car was one of their best, as apart from the seat bolster wearing through at 160,000 miles, was completely trouble free. Cannot remember anything ever going wrong or breaking on it. Best £150 I ever spent on a car.

The that blue MK1 lwb transit isn't that early they were launched in 1966.

The diesel bull nose front panels were fitted when the 3.0 Essex V6 (low comp approx 100hp) was special ordered.

That ones been retro fitted as the MK1 had a stubby  dash mounted shifter  ( that's the MK2 floor mount) & it's got a normal brake pedal.
