because on here, you're surrounded by sadists and/or lunatics. 

 

It's a disease, and I'd like to see government funding to help (pay forum costs and give all members a Brown or beige 1970's British heap).

I like these. I like that they're relatively simple and unassuming transport. I like that piston-head bores, who attempt to define themselves by what they drive, hate them because it means I'm not one of them.

I can't imagine why anyone bought one brand new, when they cost up to £16,000 in 2001 money, but I'm glad they did because now they're knocking about for way below £1000. It's the Carina E for those who are unable to convince their partner that a 20 year old Toyota is a good thing. Ideally I'd have an Opel Monza parked in a heated garage for weekends, obviously, but for day to day travel and supermarket car park ding collection, this would be the one.

This one in particular, the owner has been playing cambelt roulette seemingly unknowingly.

What a hopeless ad for that Maestro!  Starting price is ambitious for a ropey one with a mismatched bootlid and very little detail or imagery on the ad, no MOT since 2008 either.  Shame, a Mayfair is quite posh, velour seats plus they got nice wheeltrims too.  Everything a discerning buyers should need in 2017.
