Isn’t a hood scoop supposed to face forward to draw in a lot of air? It does on my Subaru.

The functioning version draws cool air from the low pressure area in front of screen  but the near the screen the better known as cowl induction.

Most commonly found on late 60's early 70's GM junk.

Yes there are the same car. It belongs to Mr JCB, Lord Bamford.

If it is it's been heavily remodelled; the yellow one has no tailgate and the profile of the wing above the rear lights is quite different.
