ooh, I've got a trackday booked for this weekend - that could be interesting :)

 

 

It's unlikely to be the same one :D

 

I only say that because a few years ago 2 lads turned up to oulton park with a BMW 325i they'd just bought at auction for buttons , they had a right laugh in it because they had no money in it so just enjoyed it not worrying about putting it in the gravel if the overcooked a bend

 

all the cars I've had that were worth putting on a track meant too much to me to risk stuffing one into a fence

£73, 7 hours and 2 trains. It sounds miserable.

 

It'd be a hell of a ride home though.

I bought a MX5 from a guy in Aberdeen , think it was about £45-50 each with flybe from manchester, we took off, mrs wack nodded off , woke up not long after and said how long, we're coming in to land , oo fantastic , it was only about an hour or so.

I done gone and paid now too. Turns out Aberdeen is only 271 miles away from Durham.
