I should have done a meeting-buckerteer-in-toon thread for the Suzy delivery - I would have included a picture of Chompy's old picasso (with it's proper engine) outside ScaryOldCortina's lasses' house.

I am ashamedly a fan.

No need for shame here, we're all friends.

I thought they were pretty repellent until I bought one, now I think they're ace.

Still have a soft spot as parents had one when they were new-ish and I was still teen. Main memory is of feeling very high up. Wouldn't rule out having one in future.

Diesel? Towbar?

Petrol

No ( I don't think so. I forget what the back looks like)

For those of you who are confused, this was formerly the property of Woman_RML's mum until it started draining the battery. Since she's not a car person she tasked me with it's sale.

Glad you're chuffed with it, it's not a bad tub apart from the electricity leak.

This afternoon, I reconnected the battery, and it didn't start.

Attaching a second one got her running.

I then promptly did a 70 mile round trip to an interview, at 4 on a Friday..

After the interview got back in it, no dice. 2nd battery saviour again.

Stopped at the local Deli (Proppah posh in Lenzie, dontcha know) and procured beer.

Started straight off the key.

Fast forward to after dinner, and it was

"Transit? WOZZAT M9"

In there is 3x IKEA BILLEH book cases (7ft long) plus all the shelves, plus a King-size IKEA Bed,PLUS all the packaging for the new bed.

Look how much space is left!!

Anyways, off to the dump tomorrow AM, then onto collection #2 of the week, which could be more interesting!

How do you get all the IKEA stuff home from the dump?

I've the Oxford for that..

Picassos are like making long distance calls to international phone sex lines from work after everyone else has gone home.

Nobody wants to admit it, but we all like it/do it/would recommend it to a friend.
