I'm beginning to regret my self imposed - no Autoshite, real life - weekends........ bugger.

Lots of luck - and green eyed monster type glances - to the winner.

Draw is when?

It's looking like Wednesday - I think there are only six (edit:four) tickets outstanding.

With just two outstanding, I'm confident enough to call it for Wednesday.

Who will be doing this soon?

I had a dream last night that a lobster that spoke a foreign language was snipping off my fingers with its pincers.

I looked it up in my girlfriends book of dream interpretations and it said that I should look forward to a windfall. Or that a should prepare for a great disappointment.

I'm optimistic.

I was exercising great restraint by not buying a ticket, but Jesus Christ, I can’t help myself. If anybody gets cold feet I will happily take their ticket off their hands.

If there’s a ticket still left I’ll have one, thanks.

I've seen 3 of these since buying the ticket, is it some terrible, financially crippling omen?

I'm going to by a normal lotto ticket with my number in it, this will prevent fate from eliminating my chances of winning this by drawing my number in the main balls - because it will want to prevent me winning the jackpot more.

Or something like that.

Phew it's sold out, I can comment and get some popcorn for tonight now! When I commented on junkmans roffle my name went against a ticket!

I'm probably the least suitable person to own one yet there I was for a few days reading forum posts on them and seeing what the crack was

Space is my primary concern, because really I need to lose a car before I can take on a Range Rover, but I don't want to cut any of the current fleet loose in favour of this - so I'm banking on that situation just sort of magically resolving itself

Money less so, because I reckon I can run it for a while and then re-roffle it for sufficient profit over the initial £12 outlay to cover the insurance, tax, fuel etc for the duration of my ownership.  Because, you know, its practically unheard of for these to grenade in a spectacular way and be reduced to scrap value overnight.

So I'm in because I actually want to own it.

Thank Christ this was sold out by the time I saw it!

Give it 6 months and it'll be back! Or wait for one of the other 2 chaps to want out of their p38's

Does this qualify for classic insurance, or is it still counted as modern?

I had it on my Peter James policy, it's 1996 so just squeaks in.

Due to age, yes.  Try Flux first, others do specific policies on Land and Ranges mainly to cover OLLI types.  But you're only after limited mileage 'classic' status.  Important that the nice lady on the phone understands that before you go down the questionnaire avenue down the phone.  Also, there should be a distinction between P38 of this age and not the later models with the keyless entry that get a higher loading because of extra theft-ability.
