Ace! Those alloys were truly awful. Would be great to obtain original bumpers.

Lowline roof and flat-back rear looks Rong to me!    Never mind all that, you have a V8 Consul anything else about it is live-with-it stuff.    Best of all - original bench seat and Propah wheel - can't stand these 50s cars with handcuff steering and Recaros.   Looks tons better with the steelies but then you already knew that!    From what can be seen it looks well sorted too.

Plans.....................attend to soundproofing boot, slight fuel leak, n/s side exhaust tail pipe rubs on valance , rear wheels have minimal clearance [mind get half an inch taken out of them by excellent steel wheel banding bloke in Tiverton]. heater matrix needs re-coring, and sundry other small jobs............

I know folk aren't keen on the wheels, but with those wheels make it look like something that could have been in street machine in the 90's, it's great!!

Definitely.

As for wheels, I really think it needs chrome Cragars.

Absolutely loving it on those steels.

What’ll it do mister?

It'll rumble :)

This must be wonderful to burble around during the summer, elbow out of the window listening to the V8 rumble bouncing off the parked cars as you pass by. Lovely.

Just drive it. Life is too short for anything else.

Unfortunately, getting the rear wheels off means disconnecting the rear shocks to drop the axle low enough to get the wheels off, which is not ideal! Thinking about changing the rear studs for bolts, which we give more clearance to remove wheels, but still not enough.......any suggestions?

Very nice, I like the alloys in the first pic! Glad to see the rear doors haven't been welded up as so many seem to have been.
