An evening spent riding around on my *finally* taxed CG125, which is running really nicely now it's had a few good runs and a fresh tank of petrol, followed by booking a skydiving session I got for my birthday.  Just Googled the plane that I'll be going up in, the Black Beech 99.

My first thought was, that's a very small plane!  Never been on anything smaller than a commercial jet, for some reason I was expecting something the size of a Hercules...oh well, it's not like I'll be in it very long.

Used to live up there ( the village not the airclub!). You'll have a fantastic time. The instructors are friendly and the place is usually buzzing if it's a nice weekend. Make sure you take a picnic with you as there's not a lot up there. Are you going solo or a tandem jump? Best of luck with the jump!

Thanks, it'll be a tandem jump, never done one before but I've wanted to for a long time.  Can't wait!

Not particularly work safe, but it's on my playlist for projector testing anyway.

See who objects first when it's on the wall about 20 foot high.

Haven't a clue what was going on there, will probably have to watch it another 100 times, or more.

Is that Diggerland? Looks like fun!

Of course!

Is it any good? I wanted to take my nephew last time I was over, but wondered if it was worth the trip.

Why are 99.6584% of cars for sale in Essex all with bellend dealers who feel the need to clog the receiving end of my phone with verbal diarrea??

What happened to private sellers selling genuine cars? Seems to be less and less around these days, locally.

One word answer.

Essex.

Diggerland Durham. Absolutely awesome, I got a dumper truck racing experience.... Expected it to be a few laps, actually got nearly three hours including the dumpster trucks as well as everything else we fancied, as the park was closed. Just ask and they'll let you on it, even the spectators on most stuff.... Not the racing as that was the paid bit, but the diggers and JCB and the Spinny round ride made out of an excavator. Couldn't fault the staff at all, had a great time. Just a 7 hour round trip!!

My lad did one a few weeks back and said it was simply amazing, good luck, by all accounts you'll love it.

I got really, really pissed last night and when my lift pulled up outside Costa Del Cav, I spotted a shit looking Fiesta which I was admiring. Woke up this morning, it's still there and then I remembered I bought it yesterday afternoon.

I heart diggerland, been a few times with nephews and they loved it

Walked a couple of miles barefoot through the surf with my son's small hyper dog who loves water but doesn't see the sea normally. Good to be alive stuff. :-D

You were literally just over the hill from a smart looking Japanese Import that you really wanted to take home with you ;)

I know!!! We sat in wetherby services discussing just such a move but it would have been very late, and since I was in a hire car that nobody else could drive it would have involved putting an mx5 on the roof or something.... But I did see how close I was.

You couldn't possibly have been as pissed as you state as your posting at stupid o clock on a sunday morning.

If you forgot what you bought in the afternoon what the hell did you buy last night then?

I always get up early! Last night I had another Cavcraft works do and invested heavily in lager and vodka.

Skimming the TV paper and by one of the pics in there it appears there will be a Maestro Ice Cream van in Coronation Street this week.Almost makes me want to watch it. Almost.

Driving along today, suddenly aware that road noise has increased and there's a hell of a draft. Bloody dog has learnt how to open the back windows on the car! He didn't just do it once (where it could have been by chance) but EVERY time I shut the window! He loves having the breeze in his oversize lugholes.

Look in the door mirrors and all you can see either side is a dogs face and ears going mad - made me laugh.

I will be impressed if your car has windy rear windows! My dog loves the breeze but tries to have all his body out bar his hind quarters. We just leave back windows down and he goes in the boot

SWMBO is sat opposite me eating KitKats on toast.

You know, like cheese on toast.  Only KitKats.

No, 'leccy ones.  At one point today he was sat with the top of his body out of the car and his leg casually dangling down the side - he looked well cool but I was a tad concerned for his safety... and the bloody new paintwork!

Er picture please as it sounds minging :-)

Sorry, they only lasted about a minute after they came out from under the grill, and there's no way I'm eating one this late at night.

It looks minging, but it's grade A munchies (or was, 10 years ago, when I last had the munchies).  I don't think SWMBO believed it could be nice until just now.

What a pissed-off looking bus.

Diggerland sounds most excellent, wonder if there's anything similar up here in the SVM region.
