It looks Chrysler-ish to me. Junkman?

You are correct. 1975-78 Chrysler Newport.

On a different note:

I CAN HAZ LITE IN BOOT!

Courtesy of Mr Conelrad (many, many thanks again!) the RoD boot illumination and also the fancy map reading/glovebox light on the dashboard now glimmer dimly yellowish on demand. Boot light switch offage when lid is closed was verified courtesy of a newfangled telephone put into the boot, making a video when the lid was closed.

The video has strong Richard Carpenter chill overtones, so I watched it several times. Also, last night I went out three times after dark to open the boot and do some ooohs and aaaahs. Going out more has been recommended.

I had refrained from fixing these gadgets for fear of severe retaliation by the evil spirit possessing said motor. They never worked in all those years I have the car.

^ I get an inordinate amount of pleasure from such repairs. Last week's adventures with the headlight wipers cheered me up for days after. Well done chaps!

A friends wife has just been round, my friend died of cancer a few months ago and he told his son, jokingly, before he died that when he's old enough he'll buy him a Aston Martin.

When my friend died her son asked her if that meant that he couldn't have a Aston Martin now, she's been looking for some AM wall paper to cheer him up so emailed them at Warwick explaining the story and asking if they sold wall paper, they have got back in touch offering her and the children a VIP day out at the factory with food and drinks and a tour of the factory as well as sending the boy out a present.

How bloody nice is that of them!.

Why has my name got chill overtones?

I have been shut in the boot of a BL car but that was on a hot day :?

When I was a kid I found a book of the TV show Catweazle by Richard Carpenter,  I bought it solely because it had my name on but did enjoy it.

I completely forgot about it until a friend on another forum commented that Catweazle would be a better forum name for me as I bore a certain resemblance to him ( I hadn't done 20 years earlier when I bought the book).

I changed my avatar that day and use it on most forums that I frequent.

Dog going mad because of bird on window sill.

tumbler pigeon.jpg

Open window, bird comes in. Very nice bird, wasn't too fussed about being held. Dog going mad, missus going mad, cats going mental.

Put him in the rabbit run, bolted door then took details from his ring and rang round a few places. 20 minutes later it's owner is on the way and picked him up. It's a tumbler pigeon apparently and only very young, lovely little bird that wasn't really bothered about all the fuss!

Outside is finally very stormy which is bringing in a nice cool air having been very warm for the past few days. Wonderful. :D

Got some cheap ladders finally on Ebay that weren't too far away so I can do DIY type stuff outside, picked up some mild carbon monoxide poisoning on the way back with them poking out the tailgate but no matter.

(the roof bars I've on watch on Ebay are more than the ladders...)

Must have been a freudian. I meant John Carpenter.

Snigger.

Mustardmit, I don't really get it. I mean, you get out of bed/the shower/um, whatever, and suddenly think "I know, I'll take (a) picture(s) of that thing for e-bay". It's not the first time it's happened - http://www.oddee.com/item_98478.aspx (equally NSFW).

I was following an audi r8 on a dual carriageway, a vw fox came up the inside and the man driving was pointing at the saph saying something to 3 kids in the back whose eyes were fixed on my saph, they weren't bothered by the r8 at all, it really made me smile for 2 reasons. 1 the kids were being educated properly. 2 a 22 year old Ford outshone an audi r8

hahaha! There was a similar one a couple of years ago. A bird was selling a dress, which she hung over a long mirror to photograph. Full on clunge shot.

Just been reading about the Borghild Project, it seems Heinrich Himmler was the pioneer of the blow up doll.

They were intended to stop Nazi troops catching std's from prostitutes...

Quite an interesting read.

Fairly standard Honda driving what I see of it.

Certainly standard Honda Jazz customer demographic (between 65 and dead )

Haha that Honda pic is great,

My post has just come and the hmrc have sent me a cheque I wasn't expecting for over payment of tax, it's only £70 but I like getting money I wasn't expecting, as a bonus my saph is nearing 5000 miles since its last service (I service my cars every 5000) so I'll use the cash for that
