Speaking of truck fail I spotted another Navara with a split chassis in Arran yesterday. I would have taken a photo but I was too drunk to work my phone.

And there was some pretty nice cars there too, I'll make a thread of them at some point when I'm feeling less knackered and burnt but I'll leave you this for now!

Not car related... You may recall my dog fell in love with a cage full of runny babbits at pets at home. Well, he's just had his day made....

Met a real live rabbit, they made love to each other for a good fifteen minutes, proper kissing and cuddling - hilarious! Woman I met was just stood there filming them.

Had a bitch of a job getting him to come home... I want to watch the F1!

Shame about the rims on the Busby van...

Sod it, I'll treat you to a few more photos then, I think they look good, they're only wheels at the end of the day and can easily be swapped for normal ones again.

It struck me on the way home how easily I trust some folk.  Didn't think twice about handing Ruffgeezer the key to the Xantia and fucking off while he promised to fix it.  I'd left tools and all sorts in the car.  It's a bit weird really, I'm even suspicious of handing the keys to my car to a garage, let alone someone I've only ever met on the internet.

I really like that Ital. Everything about it looks right to me.

Nice van, wheels are just a subtle touch of difference. Better than three TSW Venoms and a spacesaver.

I reckon slightly less width (maybe and inch less) and slightly more sidewall on that Ital and it'd be perfect. I like banded steelies like this but they're not as subtle as they could be. It's still GReight though.

That van is fuppin excellent!!!! I love it!!! The busby sticker and the ladder on the roof are just SWEET, its got a proper art element to it I reckon. Love it. Is it the work of former R-R legend 'Slater'?

Yes mate, I think he's sold it now, It really looks smart and even the wheels look good in the flesh.

Some ital vans on the change came with marina fronts but ital dashboards. Dad had a few of them

I think Ratdat sums up my thoughts on it. It is nice, but a little bit too far.

Slater did create some cool machines though. His turbocharged beige Metro was truly superb.

Ta fellas - in fact Stibbington is a regular haunt of mine. To explain properly, on Sunday I'm off to a festival/carnival thingy in town with the traction engine hence trying to find somewhere in the town centre. I'll put a pic up of us monging it up with in the Maccy D's car park at silly o'clock.

Received a call from Shiply delivery man - my old 2cv is on the way back home. He said "have you seen it since they repainted it?, they've done a great job and the colour really compliments the car".

Photos later, today at work is going to be the longest day at work in my life. It nearly feels like waiting for my wife to go into labour all over again!

Traction engines are one of those wonderfully tactile looking things that make me want to clamber aboard and fiddle with all the things.  I never do, of course, I'm too scared of parking it in a house or something and have the greatest respect for the people that keep these charming and cumbrous beasts chugging along.
