beko1987 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Sat in the traffic jam on the M40 this morning for 45 minutes, the little rover driver kept his engine on and it didnt overheat! My engine was off so I wouldnt overheat...
mat_the_cat Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Maybe they're to stop the train dead? In its...erm...tracks

Sloth in a bowl Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 With that level of comman sense we may have discovered one of the many reasons why being a fireman is one of the most dangerous professions in the UK. DSdriver and Junkman 2
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 While I don't think that fire engine is returning to base with an intact hose, trains can apparently traverse surprisingly massive gaps in the track without derailing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-8gV4DJZUw KruJoe, STUNO, Junkman and 3 others 6
Skizzer Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 ^ I've got that on DVD. It's fuppin' excellent. You know it's going to be a winner from the moment the opening credits start with "H B HALICKI MERCANTILE CO And JUNK YARD Presents..."
vulgalour Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Lancia 1500 alloys sold to a Simca enthusiast for £60. That's a pleasant little windfall, wouldn't have sold the wheels if I had something for them to go on but I reckon they've gone to a good home.
cms206 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Just passed a brand new Ssangyong Rodius Turismo! Even better, it appears a brand new Rodius Classic can be had for £16k! http://www.ssangyonggb.co.uk/Turismo-Overview?

Lord Sterling Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Cheers for this Tayne, this has inadvertently reminded me of a tune that used clip as part of it's music video. I must have seen the music video in 2001 or something at a burger joint in Brussels. I only ever saw it once but have now found it. Brilliant. I really must see the original film at some point soon, looks great. I didn't think much of the remake.
cms206 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 The boss has his two year old labrador in today, as he does most days. We nipped out to KFC for lunch, sit down to eat and the boss hits out with what I think is my favourite quote of his so far this week..."Don't give him chicken, it makes him sick. Or at least the tandoori chicken I made him on Saturday did. He enjoyed it when he was eating it but didnae like bringing it up."
Mr_Bo11ox Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Went to see that 'under the skin' film last night. An alien dressed as Scarlett Johansson driving round Glasgow in a Sprinter van, picking up men to drain of their life force. Fucking brilliant, i have never seen owt like it
fordperv Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I ordered a non stocked radiator for grandad fordpervs Picasso an hour ago and it's here, long live small motorfactors that bend over backwards for you in the name of customer service drum, beko1987, mercrocker and 3 others 6

Mr Lobster Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I've loads to be doing but never mind that, I've just wasted most of the last half hour looking at people who can't park properly - http://youparklikeacunt.com/ KruJoe 1
cms206 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Starting to think my 940 might be a bit clean for Shitefest now, losing me crucial shite points... scrubs up pretty well though! eddyramrod, mouseflakes, saucedoctor and 10 others 13

Negative Creep Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Taken from PH. French build quality still as good as ever - apparently this was the dealer's idea of a good paint match https://flic.kr/p/mKJm9u
vulgalour Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Finally finished chopping up the orange Princess and cleaning all my tools away. Off to the tip and the scrapyard tomorrow with the various remains and crap about the place. beko1987 and KruJoe 2
Wilko220 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Stumbled across these pictures from 1967, on the day Sweden switched from driving on the left to driving on the right... http://www.retronaut.com/2013/06/traffic-in-sweden-switched-from-driving-on-the-left-to-driving-on-the-right/?utm_content=buffer57ed3&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer Jim Bergerac, Junkman, mouseflakes and 5 others 8

Mr_Bo11ox Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I just sold my van. Bought for 625, driven 20,000 miles in a year and sold for £800. I WIN! vulgalour, dollywobbler, Cavcraft and 14 others 17
cort16 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You did 20000 miles in that doblo? I think you need to buy yourself something really comfy to make up for that.
dollywobbler Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Dear god I HATE those fingernails. Used to work with some bloated hippo (not sexist, observational fact) who had fingernails like that, and had to listen to the horrific sound of her typing. I used to love it when the salesman dropped into the office, because she'd stop typing and just gawp.
xtriple Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Parked the MX (roof down) in a dead end opposite a pub (on double yellow lines!) while I went in the photo shop to get my piccy taken for my new 'blue badge'.Came out to see a bloke busily taking pictures of my brummer.... not' cos he liked the car, but because he was amused by two fat dogs driving/navigating with the roof off! My poor little car replete with aforesaid woofers seems to be a source of amusement to many people around Torquay!
Negative Creep Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Don't know if there are any other fans on here, but just finished watching Wrestlemania XXX having avoided any spoilers and holy crap was it good. Still can't believe that Undertaker result. beko1987 and Craig the Princess 2
