I couldn't give a hoot either way about Marge. I have had a bit of fun with one of my facebook friends posting loads of "Good riddance", "Glad she's gone" stuff.... someone who was born in 1990. After she stepped down. I've also pointed out that since this person is at uni, she should actually celebrate the fact that Maggie was a supporter of student grants instead of loans, which this friend is ALWAYS whinging about.

Just been reading the reactions to her death on the BBC News website. Most of the politicians, even those bitterly opposed to her, are trying to remain respectful on the day of her death. But

As a junior member of AS you obviously havent been invited into our clique where we blow coal dust off our cheese sandwiches and drink stale socialist ale...theres an area of this forum who share and agree on a lot of factors..if u havent picked up that isnt just about cars...and if u want silenced and censored threads then go over to Retro Rides or read new Land Rover reviews in Tatler or Country Life...you are obviously one of the beneficiaries of the Tory era..for me that meant chronic unemployment....and had to live on 20quid a week hence i emigrated..and got paid and treated like humans should be and not treated as some feudal minion...however..speak your mind...

Maggie Thatcher, Milk Snatcher was a marvellous bit of PR considering she wasn't the first to cut school milk. In 1968 Labour's education secretary Edward Short cut free milk for secondary schools, but his name didn't rhyme with anything so no-one noticed. Thatcher extended the cut to primary schools a few years later. I had to be dragged kicking and screaming to primary school, entirely because I knew I'd be force fed a nasty little bottle of room temperature milk with clumps of gloop all round the rim - and pay five pence for the privilege.
