What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

Was in Crewe Tesco car park this morning, an old Subaru with four yoofs on board screeched in closely followed, and clearly being chased by, a 1990 Micra. After a couple of laps of the understore car park the Micra boxed the lads in and driver gets out... A grey haired lady well past 70! She grabbed a shopping trolley from the trolley park next to her and rammed it several times into the Subaru. She was properly angry! Screaming abuse etc.

No idea what they had done to her, traffic was awful, with long queues everywhere, presumably they had cut her up or something...

The lads didnt know where to look etc. proper dented their car too.

Made me grin!

 

Have noticed that quite often the angry intolerant drivers seem to be in newish expensive stuff, Audis, BMW X5, etc.

God forbid that you ever slow them down by more than 2 milliseconds. Latest was a Milf in a white Audi A6 in Newcastle this morning. Traffic light changed to amber, then... Paaaaarppp! Blowing the horn because I didn't set off, on amber... Plus she had a mobile phone clasped to her ear and was eating a bag of crisps!

Is it me?

 

So its not okay to do it in an Audi etc but its proper funny in a Micra of you are old?

 

 

Given the situation, yes! Was funny. Maybe you had to be there etc...

Monday I went into the local steel fabricators to order a load of cut steel that will make up a load of Rebel chassis outriggers, I'd got it into my head that there was £50 worth of steel there, just had a phone call to say its only going to be £30 Somehow it feels like i've just found £20 that i never knew i had!

Annoyingly, the one I'd set my heart on had been reserved about half hour before, but eventually I decided on a lovely grey and white tom called Smoky. He's 13 but in good health, and that suits me as he's very chilled out and I can give him somewhere nice to spend the next few years. Now I just need to think of a name..............

Compare the Market - they've put a guide price/value when you enter a vehicle's reg number to get a quote which I thought was pretty handy.

 

The stuff I've been checking is all around the price they give as an example so not sure what it's taken from, if you stuck a bit of profit on then it's within £150-£200 etc.

Yes that the one, I think it's caught a chill in the recent cold snap, hopefully it's a easy fix, I know it needs a head gasket, radiator and battery but with only 22000 miles I can't imagine there's much more wrong with it...
