The dingbats thread...

It is a perfect combination of shite old cars, fiendish puzzles and letchery. BRILLIANT!

+1, it's a right laugh!

I've hit my 3 stone weight loss target (14 down to 11 stone) - I now weigh exactly the same as 20 years ago. Except that none of my clothes fit any more!

The method; less treats and cycling - 2000 miles of it!

Leam House Special Naan Kebab.

Naan the size of an A3 sheet of paper, doner meat, chicken, chicken tikka, sheeshk Lebanon, chips and garlic sauce.

The thing weighs nearly 3lb.

Also, that my Sunday colleague insists on short tight skirts :/

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Quality filum (proper thinking one rather than a bang and gore fest) with awesome cars. Really fancy a DS now ... even gf liked it.

I went to that big classic car show on Selkirk today. It pished down all day and was muddy as anything but none the less their was some cracking stuff their including a solid gold shite Triumph Panther thing. I left quickly as the mud was getting worse so sodded off up the road only to realise I hadn't taken one picture. What a total wanker I am.

This chap went.

Is it just me thinking the standard Dolomite looks prettier?*

*Now THERE's a noun and comparitive I never expected to use in such a way...

Posted

I agree the Dolomite's a better looking car but this is high grade shite. This cost 3 times the amount of a Dolly Sprint when new and 2 grand more than a v12 XJS.

I wonder why they didn't sell many?

Normally if I'm off work during the week, the school mums picking up their little darlings from the primary school next to me really get on my tits. Parking in a narrow single track lane outside my gaff cos their too lazy to walk 500 yards to the school gate, resulting in endless repairs to my garden fence cos they can't even steer a car properly.

However I will make an exception for this particular Mummy who picks her kiddywinks up in this!!

At least she has the decency to park on the main road.

Oh, and this turned up today too.

Last week, someone turned up in a 1978 T plate Citroen Ami! In beige! That wasn't there today but I will keep my camera handy!

Posted

I thought it would be a little dangerous to be seen on the road by a school during kicking out time with a camera nowadays...

Honestly officer, it was the Renault 6...

My better half?

Somebody's siren wife was featured here recently.

Wasn't me, I'm single

Posted
^^Ahh, remember now. WTC's better half it was. 8)

Lol! I wouldn't describe her a a siren, Norm!

I'm sure someone else posted a pic of their other half as well.

Maybe in Red China. I think Brits are still permitted to take public photographs... so far. Prolly not much longer. Use it or lose it?

You're correct on this Norm.

You can take pictures of anything over here provided your are on public property.

There's a lot of paranoia about what you can and can't do over here and idiot rentacops don't help.

Despite this I've never been challenged anywhere even though I'd happily take pictures of an oil refinery at night.

I'm not dumb enough to walk round schools at chucking out time with a camera though.

Joking aside if you get spotted they'll probably send the rozzers round who will quite likely make you delete/destroy said pictures.

Hellz, what a bunch of knee-knockers. Puff out your chests a bit and ask for a pose. You'd be surprised how many want to be documented.

Mrs Blitz, yesterday.

Go on then Norm! Start the ball rolling!

I remember you mentioning that Renner Six. What a stunner! I really must get a set of pre-facelift back lights sorted for mine...
