^^^^^ What he said! Only substitute tea for coffee. Don't forget to take the phone off the hook.

Buying a Honda Helix, unseen, for £35 :D

Bloody hell, what a bargain! You can't go wrong for that money and I suspect th lack of pictures, poor advert and time of year/weather have all helped your cause. Right result that, hats off to you sir.Grin factor 11 today as I discovered 195/50/15 tyres+snow=fun. The very, very slightest touch of the loud pedal saw some kwal sliding.

After a final, manic, week long thrash in the snow, driving the Herald to the Ace last night with its new heart made me grin rather a lot :D

I've not been putting it all on-line as, all being well, it will be appearing in a magazine once I finish writing it up, (monies from which will help pay for it!) I dare say there'll be other details I can fill in once that happens and I'll update the thread on R-ROh, its a bit quick now! :D

A bit of a grin inducer was watching Parcelforce van apply the brakes from speed on our snowy village lane and come to a halt 20 yards further on than he meant on the other side of the road, then trying to look casual.

It makes me grin to see how ultra-unprepared some countries and most people in those countries I wont mention here are when it comes to a bit of snow in, surprise surprise!, winter!

In what's been a very sad day it was sort of mildy amusing rolling up fashionably late to a funeral in a lowered car with a boy racer exhaust. With echoes of 'trust you to do that' and a few smiles we headed into the church.

Internet shopping for DVDs - I can buy all kinds of dreadful films from the relative comfort of my home.Things are so much easier nowadays, to get my fill of cheesy action films as a kid I had to patiently check the TV schedules on the basis that there might be something half-decent on eventually, or (more often) take my chances buying ex-rental VHS cassettes on the market. No opportunity to check out the trailer on Youtube or anything, just a box with a load of explosions and a description along the lines of "Kurt B. Stack is a rogue cop who doesn't play by the rules. When a criminal mastermind blows up his family, it's the last straw. He's hoping to make a KILLING..... before the DEAD-line!". Even if it sounded alright, the tape could be duff from being overplayed, bloke on the stall could be a twonk who won't sell it to you because it's an 18-rating, etc.Now I can just sit here and handpick all kinds of old rubbish and have it drop through the letterbox. Also, Asda have a £2-3 DVD selection which throws up all kinds of surprises. It's great!

Planes make me smile. I am as into planes as I am into cars.

Mrs Parky is currently en route to Dallas and I am tracking the planes movements on this site - http://www.flightstats.com which is quite interesting.

Had a heart in mouth moment at 6.55pm when the reported altitude of the plane went from 38000 ft to zero feet and airspeed fell from 465kts to zero kts. Thirty seconds later it went back to normal so obviously the transponder in the aircraft has a loose connection.

Despite being "a metaller" (copyright my niece 2009) I love Lily Allen.

There, I've said it. not just in a pervy way either.

+1There is something very endearing about her, seeing interviews with her, she comes across as genuine and funny.
