Thanks Seth!, Hopefully this little spot which grow big and strong, even though she has had a positive result on the test, We won't quite believe it until it's noticeable i think, Goes to show that IVF can work though. :D

LPG @ 70p/litre at my local Calor gas place. That'll do (if the alternative is £1.30/l for petrol...)

^^^ That's a measure of how the base fuel price has risen more than anything else!

Certainly is, but it's still not far off half price.

Couple of years ago I got upset if I paid more than 35p/l for LPG.

True: however, in 2008 when liquids were at a comparable level to today's prices, gas was in the mid-50s or so up to 60-ish.

I'll keep my fingers crossed Trig. Had a friend who lost one early in the process so as you say, early days. Hopefully it won't be too long before you're getting ordered around and missing out on sleep!

I'll be learning all about midwifes soon i hope... after 5 years of trying and two IVF sessions, Mrs T got a positive result this morning :D:D Very early days though (she'd only be 2 weeks) so trying not to get excited at the moment as things can go wrong :? , Plus we are trying to keep it very secret so don't tell anyone :P

Excellent news Trig, good luck though I'm sure you won't need it.

Seeing a Golden Eagle in the next village. They're MASSIVE! Lots of twitchers about...

Good luck Mr and Mrs Trig.........in my experience they are only expensive for the first 18 yrears.

We were pretty lucky as Mrs Alf had to have some pills to help concieve but after all the waiting (and wanking into pots) we were delighted when she finally got up the duff!

Never been sorry either.

Thanks guys :D. Fingers crossed that it works out, it would be very hard (especailly for wife) if she miscarries, We've known a lot of people lately who have miscarried early on so thats made us worry a bit. :?

Just don't spread the word too much yet! Make do with blabbing to us lot rather than let everyone in your family know.

Ok, you've got a blog. Chill out! I've got one too, but I don't talk about it in every thread! :)

Last night I went to my 19 year old son's Police Attestation ceremony. Couldn't have been prouder and he looked very smart in his dress uniform.

Made a nice change to escape the usual crap I have to put up with.

Tomorrow night I'm going to see the LEGEND that is John Shuttleworth in the 'A Man with No More Rolls' tour.

Apparently it was supposed to be 'No Morals' but Ken was a bit sloppy with the E-mail to the printers...

I've seen him a few times now. I can't wait :D

Obviously I'll let you all know if he does 'Y Reg'...

Oh Yes. Congrats to Mr & Mrs Trigger :D

Dear Team Blitz! That is a deal my friend, thanks for your support! You know the Iranians had to put up with the Paykan (Hillman Hunter) for 40+ years, and these guys don't even want hear about it? :D But one day Paykan will dominate this planet, and these guys will be very sorry for their actions! :D

I've been boycotting Chicago ever since I saw this:

Takeaway_250.jpg

Also boycotting American bacon because it's all stripey like on cartoons, also American chocolate because it tastes like sick.

Still, they sell root beer all over the joint. And have proper portion sizes. And you can have pancakes for breakfast. America has me torn sometimes.

Have you ever been to Chicago?????? The freeways are jammed and the surface-streets are almost as rough as Cypriot roads (but wider). A town best avoided unless you really have to do a Blues Brothers scenic pilgrimage. They were very good about me returning my hire car with so little gas in the tank that I had to push it onto the lot though... :D

if you think US chocolate tastes bad, you should try african choc

this guy from Guana gave me some and tasted like husk, grit and rat shit - even my dogs wouldnt eat it

They also have a shoe shop called Athlete's Foot!

Sorry...

The Belgians have that topped - proper chips, proper mayonnaise, shit-kicking chocolate, great beer, and waffles for breakfast.
