FakeConcern Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 If you haven't had a look at this conversion, Lexus V8 into Mk1 Focus then it's worth a watch. He's getting close to finishing it now as well... Aston Martin and Remspoor 1 1
morrisoxide Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 I really enjoyed this. English subs in settings. FakeConcern, mitsisigma01 and skattrd 3
mitsisigma01 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 I had a 1986 mira (domino) cracking little car to hoon about in, I think a couple of shiters might still have them, it's been a while since I've heard anything from them, I'm off to have a search
JeeExEll Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Out for a Sunday drive around 1971. Using 9000rpm red line. face, FakeConcern, Disco Fever and 1 other 4
JeeExEll Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 A bit of Australian motorsport. This looks a bit sporty, sort of a cross between a Mk2 Cortina GT and a Mk4 Zodiac. I knew these existed but hadn't really looked at them much. I think I've found a new dream car, with 4 doors. Ford UK missed a trick there by not putting a 289 into the Mk4 Zodiac and developing it further, or a 302 or 351 into the Consul / Granada. Would have been so easy to do. But does it go? Not aarff mate . . . Fucking quick, especially once clear of the pack. I'd guess these were geared for around 140mph max, maybe more. FakeConcern 1
JeeExEll Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Interesting FoMoCo vid on the Mk3 Granada Scorpio design process.

Austat Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 I've gone down another automotive rabbit hole. Datsuns, J-turns, and funky big band music, three things I like in life: I do like the Bluebird 510 & Skyline GC10 with the vinyl roofs at 2:22. The tv show's called "Daitsuiseki". JeeExEll 1
FakeConcern Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Police fast response training in 1997, the car is a Volvo T5 & sounds just like my current T5 when pressing on. Some interesting cars on the road and as someone puts in the comments, hardly any BMW or Audis... I thought of putting this in the standards of driving thread after seeing how many react to a car with blue lights and sirens in their mirrors... JeeExEll, vonmon and Sudsprint 3

On my last training ride, 3 of us were riding through the Dartford tunnel, blues and sirens on, when a Micra in front of us slowed down, then slowed some more, then stopped. Most do get out of the way, others stop in the most inappropriate of spots. Sometimes better to run with them off. bunglebus, FakeConcern and vonmon 2 1
JeeExEll Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Had to LOL at this, thought it was a piss-take but it's not. 'Oh yeah, I can be in charge of a 300bhp vee-hicle on the highway'. FakeConcern 1
cort16 Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 I never used to be a huge fan of this channel but their recent cheap car buying videos have been good. I think this auction video portrays my experience of going to the auctions pretty well. I.e convinced at the start I'll get a bargain and at the end buying some heap and over paying for it.
