Ah yes, this is on my 'to watch' list - came up in my suggestions recently, good old Youtube algorithm.

Rennes-la-Janais, at which plant seven of my cars began their existence...

I'm sure there are a few on here who remember these in service. No Dicky Davies @mouseflakes on screen though.

^ The American Gas Guzzlers link from that vid is interesting.

Features a Mercury like Dan's.

Soweto/Eldorado Park's two main car scenes IMHO. And I'm a big fan of both.

Go on. Have some more "not at all dangerous" spinning:

Always find it interesting to see how long those nice shiny new cars lasted - some didn't last 10 years, and the sole taxed n tested example is the Harvest Gold MGBV8

These are a few car related channels I follow. This chap is restoring a diesel SD1 in his office car park

A chap in Ireland that works on various Opel Kadetts and an old diesel Daihatsu charade

This guy's car history videos are good.

remember the story about the 94 year old woman who has driven the same Pug 203 since 1954 ? Now made the TV news. Very heartening story.

Apart from some old cars parked at the bottom this isnt car related but it cropped up after I watched Some loon night driving in a Korean V8 ;)

Must have been hard to climb a ladder with balls that big, the utterly fearless Mr Dibnah going up in the world.

Most (all ?) of the half-hour episodes of the early 80s Fred Dibnah series are on Youtube. Really interesting, especially if you watch them in the correct order. I spent hours and hours one rainy Sunday earlier this year watching them one after the other. Period traffic in the background is a bonus.

Health & Safety would have a fit. He makes it look so easy.

Evening shiters. It’s been a while as I’ve been moving house and blah blah blah..

Anyway, this lad is a good friend of mine and he’s very passionate about the kind of crap we all like - but he’s rather talented in many ways. If you are a fan of resto videos and like classic British stuff, this is for you. If not, the very fact that you are reading this means this is for you also..

Enjoy!

Fair play to Jay, perhaps not my favourite 'tuber - but not even 'Daddy Doug' has managed to get his hands on one of these

You'd need a wide quiet road to drive one of these at speed. I'd love the chance to drive one :-)
