One of very many guises of the Nissan Sunny estate. He actually likes driving this one.

I don't like Retropower, I'm worried about what they'll do to the Allegro, Princess, and that original Escort.

It could be worse.

I could be given that Escort, and demonstrate how much petrol and a match could be used to improve it.

Great chod in this scene:

Notice how the Transit loses & regains it's front number plate.

Final video of the Toyota RAV4 saga/trilogy

Probably the only car video on the internet to include a Dylan Thomas quote.

The appearing and disappearing front number plate spoils that for me. Wasn't there a scene where an SD1 does a handbrake turn on the platform of a train station?

EDIT. Found it.

Finished watching your vid. What a shame you had to junk the car. Still at least you know when to quit.

Did you purchase a four door version for the wife an mini Vladimir/Valeriya? 😉

I should have said I liked the music. You said it was yours. I assume you mean you wrote it and played it?

Yep. All of it through an iPad or a keyboard thing on the computer. I try and do a new one every other video so that it doesn't get so repetitive.

Following on from Stuntman 82 (ta for posting that, warren t claim, hadn't seen that since I was a kid), I found this on the same guys channel. It's got details of the car chases from Brannigan in.

This raises a couple of questions.

Was John Wayne really a talented enough driver to chuck a RHD manual Capri around that rooftop?

Did they use the Capri as a camera car for the chase scene?

That location does seem a bit odd, i'd have thought it could go very wrong (depends on how slow the Capri was going perhaps ?) I once read he wasn't a very good driver.
Yeah I could see that being the case.

Even I, as a man who dreams of sticking a Rover K Series in to the front of my Lada, can't work out why you would want to stick some old Honda lump in to a Ferrari...

From what I remember, you didn’t need to go very fast to make a Capri look lairy.  Leave it in second gear and 25mph was probably enough.

Even if something went badly wrong all The Duke had to do was mash the brake pedal and it would slither to a sideways halt in a few yards.

I’m only guessing about the camera car for the chase scene but I’d say no - there’s no need to use something where fixing the camera would be a pain, they’d use a regular camera car with all the tie-down points on it.

This is the chase sequence from Thunderball in 1965

And here’s the camera car, looks like a mid ‘20s Rolls Royce hearse?

So I think they’d use what was convenient for camera fixtures.

Just saw this along with part 9, there's a guy in this called Daniel with his Enfield 8000 and he mentions "the Beige forum". I know that coalnotdole and Will on Syros are Enfield owners, is Daniel on here?

I've come across this channel regarding submarines, and I think the yank is quite knowledgeable about the subject - to my ears, and I am not a sub expert.

Also this is quite a sad report in to this tragedy.
