The algorithm found me a little gem yesterday: user DaveSpencer32. You might have heard of him as PMP Transport Films; he's been filming mostly buses and trucks all over the world for years and has uploaded some of his archive footage from the 1990s. At the time these were just ordinary everyday street scenes and people probably thought he was mad for wasting tape on such mundane things, but every vehicle you see is interesting now.

Holy crap!

How have I not found that before?  Many thanks.

I discovered Jeffrey a while back and totally agree; it's wonderful that an American is so enthusiastic about obscure British buses that even a lot of Brits haven't heard of. What was especially weird was his video on Quest 80 quoting one of my old blog posts - it's bizarre hearing the words I wrote being read in a Noo Joisy accent.

That's great! Did he credit you with it?

On that subject, and it just popped in to my head, do you know why Guy Motors used an Indian chief as their logo/mascot? He mentioned it but couldn't find out why?

No shit Sherlock.  Feathers in our cap was because of their cast radiator mascot and vive versa. (Fucking logo - what era do you think it is, the modern day?)

Whatever. If it makes you feel superior…

The first half is for anyone who had a car poster from Athena in the 80s.  The second half is basically taunting @Cavcraft with all the Iveco action

Ginger Baker buys a Range Rover and drives to Africa to refine his drumming skills. I'm surprised that he didn't just get his Jensen FF lifted and fitted with off road tyres.

It is a bit more than an unboxing.

Found this recently uploaded;  It's called "Odd Jobs" presented by a "Nick Cotton" looking character called Colin Cobb and presenting about 5 minutes of how to look for faults on a non-starting Triumph. Brought to you, apparently by "Sunrise Motors (Hayes)" who apparently still around!

Woolard not Woolarding.

Just watched that before what I posted above. I've never seen or heard William Wollard so young. It was filmed in 1971.
