mild progress at least:)

I think my mechanic meant it wasn't available from any of his usual sources, I did find one on eBay for about £170, that Amazon one is cheaper but I'm happy with the used one if it works.

Just measure the resistance before you fit it . Should be somewhere around 1000 ohms

I don't have any kit to do that unfortunately so I'll have to trust the seller's word, doesn't look too hard to fit so fingers crossed it'll fix the problem.

I will have my heap back tomorrow. I will be very poor indeed, but, my car will now have a winged flying 'B' on the radiator grill! It was a necessity!

Is there a roofrack to fit the Rover R8?  I realised today that it might be the first car I've owned I can't put a roofrack on.

YES you need

Thule Rapid Fitting Kit 1061

and the rest of a thule bar/foot combo with bars at around 120cm length (fleabay is your friend)

and if these fit they got rover emblems on and all

Not a single advisory last year, so shouldn't be too bad this year.

Spotted an early top spec XM on a recovery truck heading into Liverpool this morning, at the lights I tried interrogating the Chinese driver as to what was happening with it but just seem to have scared him witless, from my hand gestures and shouting squashed it appears it isn't going to be. Last MOT ran out 2012 G743 UJA

As you may be aware, the Porsche in for a bit of an engine rebuild...

...and there's more

Apparently mine is one of (insert small number) that came from the factory with 0.48mm oversize pistons.

Consequently, the rings are not £29 each, but £93 each and available only from Porsche in Germany.

MOT for the T4 at 3pm ...bricking it ,only slightly..so i gave it a wash to kill some time. Mot testers must get pissed off going under a dirty vehicle..Number plates cracked ..

Oh I'm so ill and full of snot today but IT'S OKAY because I've got this ace commission of a mustard coloured ZAZ Zaporozhets I'm working on that's cheering me right the fuck up.

I ran out of fuel on the M62 yesterday like a MASSIVE KNOB.

Was on an entry slip with no hard shoulder but space to get round luckily.

The emergency phone people were helpful and sent some traffic officers down to assist.

I was hoping they might just tow me to the services which was half a mile away, but they actually closed a lane and rolled me back onto the hard shoulder by a junction.

At least they didn't berate me for being a MASSIVE KNOB, I would if I was them and spent my time sorting out idiots that can't manage to put fuel in their cars.

My low-rent breakdown cover told to me to GTF unless I paid them £75 so I had a quick walk to fetch some diesel in a can.

God bless Citroen hand priming bulbs.

Verdict: Put fuel in your car you MASSIVE KNOB.

I was thinking about where we used to stop and eat on long journeys when i was young. Anyone remember Happy Eater? Sure we stopped at one in England a few times.

The only one I ever saw was in Widnes - now demolished to make way for a travelodge.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT

At a fiver it's worth the risk to see if they fit but it's not worth the nearly 600 mile round trip it would be for me to collect them.

Shiteley available on this item?
