Minor-league shite collection pending.  Alas, compared to recent Princess-themed events, this promises to be very tame and low-key.

Moreover, car finance gone, Kia up for sale with offer received (anyone want a low mileage 2012 C'eed for £7000?), quite a liberating feeling!

I've been fannying around with online comparison sites and I've found an insurer - Octagon Standard - who can and will insure the Xantia for £580 instead of the £1200+ everyone else is wanting off me.  I think that's my solution sorted, which makes me very happy.

I have the chance to possibly purchase and store another car that for once isn't a Rover and isn't British. I won't say what it is until I know more about what is going on. I will say though it has a 3.5 V6 petrol engine.....

Honda legend

That would make sense. A rover 800 that isn't.

Just popped in mah head. .and the 3.5 v6 replaced the 2.7 used in 800s.

Maybe we're wide of the mark and he's bought a V6 powered Starcraft to live in?

Cagiva 125! It sounds ab-so-fucking-lutely ACE, I'd be quite happy to sit there revving it up all day long deafening and choking the neighbours at the same time.

After some post HGF engine resurrection, the ex-panda Prairie flew through it's test today with no advisories. Now I can gaze out at the beautiful sight of three taxed and tested Prairies. Oh my!

My last Cagiva

A retuned Suzuki Tl1000s engine with some Italian style made for an epic bike

Set of Termi's fitted and it used to grumble and rumble enough to set car alams off as I rode by.....

The 125 feels faster!

I don't think it matters, both the wheels and the Mk1 Insight are awesome separately.

I agree with the above. Having been bitten by the Insight bug, I've been looking for a MK1, bloody rare things for sale it seems! I do think they are well funky and going by the forums, last well. Apart from one which seems to go through battery packs every three years while others are on 250K miles and still original... makes no sense to me.

Anyway, mega want (along with a BTR, Jag XJR, Merc 'S' class, old American heaps, the list goes on and on and gets longer daily!).

I picked up the engine donor for my 'sports beetle' last night. All I can say is if you haven't owned / tried an MX5, you really need to. They are awesome little bits of kit, fun responsive and fine handling. Imagine a faster rwd mini that is just all round a better package.

This one is bodily grim, and has fairly tired suspension, but it still feels lively and tight. It's also mega Spartan inside, windy windows, no central locking etc, so that is less loom for me to pickle out the thing.

Have the de rigueur collection photo:

It looks shit from any other angle at the moment, mismatch of huge patches of grey/yellow/white primer, I'm going to paint it all one colour in the next few days and then I'll take some scenic pics!

Don't you dare wait until it's one colour before you take pictures for us to enjoy!
