* i will not strap a camera to the front of the crown vic and drive at high speed around soho, i promise.

if you need somewhere to dump said Limo for the day, give me a shout, I mean Soho aint a million miles from here, (I once went on a lightbulb "pub crawl" around soho, good times) and Ill happily use a 24 hour vistors parking permit, just to get a chance to have a good look at the beast :)

(and the thought of parking such a beast in the dead end here amuses me greatly)

Can you wind the partition up and lock the back doors when they start getting rowdy?

Overnight parking more than the purchase price?

Would have thought it would  be a  Cygnet rather than an IQ in the other company.

Oh amazing. Yes a very important place for many huge bands of the 60s and 70s.

Its a bit peculiar as the quoted address is the  rear entrance, only after we arrived did the penny drop…

I went to the original Marquee, but only once. It was very small & dingy and the band, Amazon were OK. According to Malc MacMillan in the NWOBHM encyclopaedia; "They produced melodic rock with singing in the style of Pat Benatar.  In the promotional text to 'Hypnotising You', the group was described as a mixture of Rainbow, Fleetwood Mac, The Who and The Police". - Hmmm

Some tracksuited 'entrepreneur' who has escaped Ukraine's military draft to bravely take his G Wagen shopping in London, I guess.

One for the parking thread 😆

(Given the circumstances, a free pass is issued)

Anyhow, what I really want to know is:

A) what is it like to drive?

B )  is it appreciably different to your last crown Vic? (Obvious not withstanding)

I was thinking he did well to get the front wheels in the box. It might be an extra-wide space?
