loserone Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I'm a bit sad he won't be piloting it all the way up here, but it'll be nice to see Bramz too.
RobT Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 If you end up looking in the fuse box for whatever reason, there's a gap where I removed the one for the alarm. It had a tendency to go off randomly, and I think it's a TADTS job.
HMC Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Funnily enough just as the old for sale thread was added to the Ex many shiters Jag x300 has ended up at Björn-HMC MOTORS, just for 24hrs, mind. Long story short- Bramz7 bought the Saab 900. This deal became a Saab- jag swap for a jag bram7 was yet to collect. Then Robt and I did a deal for the jag I had yet to see for the ex Bramz7 renner19 that’s going to happen tomorrow. If you are thoroughly confused then so am I. The Jag is currently sitting next to my Xantia that both Robt and Bramz7 have owned previously. RobT, prepace, Angrydicky and 15 others 18
Six-cylinder Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I had noticed that there was a champaign Xantia missing from my drive although I never owned one! Cavcraft, RobT and HMC 3
Jim Bell Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 It's officially impossible to keep up. Anything for sale right now? tooSavvy, Ohdearme and egg 3
wuvvum Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Mini AS meet at yours tomorrow then... HMC and The Moog 2
HMC Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Deffo. Jag central here today..... theshadow, Six-cylinder, Cavcraft and 8 others 11
SiC Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I'm confused. Who owns the Jag now and who is owning it next?!
HMC Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 More or less in terms of custodian- Bramz7- 1230-7pm 2nd novBjörn - 7pm 2nd nov- 4th novRobt - 4th nov —— But in effect Robt has been/ is currently the new legal owner. Tickman 1
bramz7 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Yeah it's a bit complicated. I agreed to buy and then did myself in with another purchase I'm off to get today so it had to go.... Great car though. Can get a touch boring thundering it down motorways but in tiny A and B roads it's a proper hoot to see how much you can give it. For a heavy car it handles quite well!
Dan_ZTT Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I think I've caught up. Much confusion. I would like to buy the jaaag but in a few months time rather than a few days...
Tickman Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 More or less in terms of custodian- Bramz7- 1230-7pm 2nd novBjörn - 7pm 2nd nov- 4th novRobt - 4th nov —— But in effect Robt has been/ is currently the new legal owner. In case any of you are inquisitive while driving the little button in the coin pocket by the drivers knee operates the starter to bypass the park switch. I luckily didn't try it to find out while driving down the motorway! Perfect winter beater.
HMC Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Neighbour is also jagged up..... Top trumps. Will an xj sport 3.2 out drag an x308 XJR? Yes if the xj 3.2 is in fine fettle and the XJR is broken and rusty Six-cylinder, Ohdearme, yes oui si and 6 others 9
bramz7 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I've got to be honest...it was a little sad dropping it off but I genuinely have no need for it. Had an old bloke complimenting it at Reading services.
HMC Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Same really, but I’ve had a few of these so that itch has been scratched, a Renault of the 80s/90s is something completely different that I’ve not had before. The jag is deffo a credit to the AS collective and an example of how keeping a car on the forum can help safeguard it in a way. It’s old but clearly cherished by all recent keepers. Robt will be a very good home for it and he deserves a good’un after previous 90s jag experiences..... egg, Angrydicky and Burnside 3
Bucketeer Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I'm going to miss not living inside the RobT/Bramz/HMC triangle. You're never short of quality rammel for sale. HMC, egg, RobT and 1 other 4
