He often looks at Autoshite.

on 17/8/17 I went to an evening car meet in the carpark outside his workshop in Oldbury. I had a chat with him, before a mate of mine came to save him and talked interior trimming. No photos of him, but there are these I tookpost-17612-0-64603600-1504427478_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-57560100-1504427504_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-78726000-1504427518_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-18782000-1504427537_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-12470300-1504427624_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-46376300-1504427639_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-89897300-1504427680_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-00830300-1504427718_thumb.jpgpost-17612-0-27324600-1504427734_thumb.jpg

Great pics! AVX2G I remember being a staff car in c&sc a good few years ago- owned by Dave Richards at the time. Wonder if he lurks occasionally too.

No, Fuzz Townsend sez "I think we just might have bitten off more than we can chew this time Tim."

That was the day he had Hyacinth on his ramp :(

I do like the background on Car SOS - it looks like when they moved to the new workshop they took a load of projects with them, there's been a Lhasa Green Golf in the background of every single series I think, also a Mk3/4/3S2/3.5/whatever Escort is in a load of them.

If he often looks at this site, do you think he might be pissed off that you've spelled his name wrong? ;)

Fuzz doesn't strike me as a pedant.

Great photos - thanks for sharing. Seeing the slightly barried Mk1 Fez reminds me of my hunt for a Mk1 for my OH, as a surprise 40th present. Unfortunately, I reckon my £500 budget will be inviting surprises of an unwelcome nature.

No. He'd spell my name wrong if he knew my real name.

Proof that One man's hobby is another man's mental illness : That mk4 astra with roll cage actually had 4x4 Subaru engine and running gear.

He must be based literally round the corner from where I work. I didn't know it was there.

Well fancy that, Fuzz checking us out.  I remember when he first joined the team of Practical Classics.

There's the answer then: next year's Chumley we'll hire a PA system and ask him to judge our motors.

He still owns it too.

Thinks: how can I get rid of this half wit on another parts "sorting mission" for a few hours.

"Phil, we need some workshop magic!

If this A series engine has been bored out by 15 tenths of a thou and we have to re-use the main trunions, how much cladding will we need to fill this using 4x6 metric sheets?"

I used to work in the units opposite his garage in Walsall. I used a couple of old things there but didn't realise at the time about the garage.

Quite a nice eclectic gathering....... I do like some of the not so intrusive mods on some of them though. The ZT looks like a great weapon and I cried a little with the Trulp doing what they do and peeing itself in the car park...... poor thing.

I like him. And he drummed for Bentley Rhythm Ace.

I also like that someone has tried to pinapple a rover metro
