As far as I know dangly mirrors were on the low specs (Base, L) and once you got to GL and upwards you were afforded proper ones.

Not sure about that, as he's wearing a seatbelt. There's always been some debate about this helmet/seatbelt thing, seems to be a legal grey area. I remember asking a cop about this years ago, and he admitted he wasn't sure!

I proper love them like this and would be absolutely delighted to own one. However since it's a 2-door I would have to commit some sort of mass fraud to afford the initial purchase price.

Agree 10000%. However it's a bloody automatic, which means it has the larger transmission tunnel so sought after by the rally boys. I put the likelihood of this one retaining its current appearance into 2010 at about 4.3%.
