I don't particularrly care that has modified the Maestro....just the crap attitude to something he was given as a present and the anal praising by his worshipers....do something nice then fineI'm a member of ratlook.co.uk, and while I dont like everything they do. some of the folk put some nice touches into their motors not just rust them outHell, I've modified every motor I've owned bar 2, which both got sold....

Phew at least I'm not the only member on rat look and autoshite. :) I find the people on there friendly and funny and as you say, many of the cars in the 'reader's rides' section are full of nice touches.(Same as here incidently) I'm not a Maestro fan in any way shape of form and quite like some of the stuff done to this one, but then again I drive a 'ratted' Sierra, so I would wouldn't I?

1978 Vauxhall Viva 1300 GLS

I'd quite fancy a Viva like this one day in this shape, i prefer the front on this to the more common "L" models front.

I LOVE that model of Galant, really clean styling. I'd thought them to be extinct here, good to know there's one at least...

reminds me of the rotary Mazzas at Retro Rides ? RX3s, I think ?

Good god thats cheap! Nice that he wants it to be kept alive as well, although that will no doubt provoke an argument...........

I can't remember, they just disappeared.

Tax has now expired, but still cheap!

Your right, there's some pretty rare old crude in that workshop of his.

I take it the Sherpa was the newer version of this van then?.

Ditto, though that MK2 Cav is pretty nice too

I do like those J4's Thought they looked really familiar, then realised that they were sold as a Pegaso/SAVA J4 in Spain.....

Posted

I dont reckon thats bargin-worthy, anything Yank of that era goes for mega-coin and Chrysler stuff is actually a comparative bargin when you look at the prices of GM stuff.

That Corona is stunning, if only I was in the market or something like that.

My friend is attempting to sell this shed:

Despite years of observing how to sell cars "the weasel way", he has naturally ignored any advice I have offered and instead opted for 4 shit pictures of a dirty car taken in the dark, a vague and useless description and a wildly optomistic pricing strategy.

I trust that your questions will be sensible.

Q: Hi, Would you take £50 and a blow job. XXX

A: certainly would

That wasn't me, but I lolled and am now tempted to ask my own 'question'

£300 BIN and he's going to include an IRA Vanity Plate? That's not wildly optimistic, that's almost reasonable. It'd probably fetch £450 if it didn't have the Mick history. Then again, I have a habit of only buying stuff off ebay that has bad descriptions and shite photos. If the descriptions are too good I don't bid - no point in buying stuff off there if it ain't cheap and well described cars are either hiding something 'orrible, or priced sensibly. I don't want sensible, I want bloody CHEEEEEAP!

I'd say it's about £200 overpriced. Bugger all t&t left, death-rattle through oil starvation, and being generally an odious piece of shit...
