ZX Aura Turbo D- 41 licensed, 99(?wtf) SORN.

Other car- 4 licensed, 10 SORN.

HML is interesting to a degree, but is very over used as a selling tool.

If that is ever tracked down by a shiter and bought, the forum will go into meltdown

It's still showing mine as being sorned but since I have two of them it's still not very accurate.

Carina is a bit of a dogs brekkie :/

HML_Carina2.jpg

The Carina II comes to about 30.... but others might be logged on differently (assuming a car is not recorded twice under a different title)

I think I can ignore Carina E

3 Citroen LNAs taxed and I have just taxed mine this morning, I wonder how long before it shows on the site.

mine comes up with zero

You need to put in the name of the car using the exact wording as recorded on the V5 - a lot of cars were not registered under their correct/complete name. I suspect when no model name was used, they go into that car maker's 'miscellaneous' section on the site.

Some time ago I tried to find out how many Jaguar XJ40s were left using the raw DVLA data from their spreadsheet, then compared it with the numbers on How many left. There was a handful of stragglers I was able to find through the DVLA's allocated model number which were not included in the "How many left" numbers, but the two were very close.

I can lose hours on HML?

Today's conundrums, include where have 50 odd M5 Tourings gone in 7 years ?

As a cynic, I would say no M car gets written off or scrapped ( on paper at least ) these days . Maybe a couple stolen and not recovered so the insurance company had the logbook, but the others must have gone to ThT Europe. At this rate in 10 years they'll all have dissapeared.

My 93 520 Auto is one of 4 licensed, maybe I should consider buying my brothers common as muck 3.8 M5and strip all the panels for the future instead of the other way round( which he's seriously considering)

I also think they will have been exported to somewhere on the Continent. The same thing is happening to the XJ40. They are more sought after in the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia and the price they are willing to pay for the best cars is much higher, even in right hand drive.

'Cooking' Maserati 222 E - 7 left.

No records for the 222 SE.

(grin)

This one lives just down the road to me, always seems to have the bonnet ajar so I presume it's not well.

P6 3500 figures are on the way up, believe it, or not. So finally cars get restored.

Same goes for R16 figures.

This is astonishing: PEUGEOT 405 EXECUTIVE AUTO - 11

I really had no idea Granadas are as rare as they are, but they are still extremely plentiful compared with the other chod I have.

425 1 licenced and 6 on SORN, but ours will get some use before the end of the year to make it 2.

I know where the other Alto FX is! Guy used to have a Reliant Regal about 10 years ago and then traded it in for that.

Saab 90 unchanged at 12, with two falling off the SORN list. XJS 3.6 healthy at 131, with 400 odd more on SORN.

Other stats are curious - who'd have thought the Vauxhall Sintra is rarer than the Daewoo Nexia?

Fiestas seem to be put on as all kind of stuff so the figures are all over the place, not helped by them reusing names. Anyway my V5 says popular plus (not popular +, which doesn't exist)

According to the year thing only 1 licensed and one SORN for 1988, but 72/159 make of that what you will

Jaguar Sovereign 3.2:

Licensed -  56

SORN - 98

XJ40 numbers are dropping very slowly now.

This.

The 800 is just recorded as "Rover Vitesse" with no model range identifier so gets lumped in with all the other randoms

And my Jag, well...

That's just a "Jaguar", nothing more. No model or variants or nuffin.
