Idiot.  It says "Kelly Whip", not "Kelly Ship"...

I think the signage is somewhat irrelevant, at that depth point

Belgium. I wouldn't have thought that a rear mounted air-cooled engine would have been ideal in an ice cream van (assuming they use the engine to drive the compressor, like most ice cream vans).

This CF near me probably hasn't peddled any 99s for quite a while.

About 15 years ago my Dad had this in our driveway, we kept it there for a friend of his, we had a outside plug put in for the fridge on the condition we’d get free ice creams and cans of coke. The photo of it at the festival is a recent one and it still has the same hubcaps my Dad put on there as a joke all them years ago

The hubcaps were the spinning ones. (Would still spin after the vehicle had stopped) which looked funny on this

I’m pretty sure it is! My Dad still talks to him every now and again

One from a steam rally this summer. It was actually on display as a preserved vehicle rather than vending, although it is apparently in working order.

I would echo what @trigger said on this thread 8 years ago, there are STILL quite a few old shitter ICVs doing the rounds, around here at least. A local highlight is a D-registered petrol Transit which is not driven very sympathetically. Driver looks like he cleans TV with his cat.

Saw someone on TV (ad?) filling an Easter egg with Mr Softee ice cream. Looked really good.
