Saw this RR in the IKEA car park.

I thought it might be owned by some fancy Edinburgh Solicitor.

Or not.

If you've got to explain it then can't see point.

I was a tourist in my own city (Edinburgh) yesterday. Found this one on Candlemaker Row, just down from Greyfriar's Bobby.

I remember seeing a vehicle with the plate 50 WAT (or something like that) outside a William Watt electricians at the bottom of Bruntsfield Links back when I was a student. Always gave me a smile. Twenty ish years later I was working as a Land Rover Experience instructor and was chatting to an old chap who had got a free session with his new discovery  (or maybe FFRR).... turned out he was the guy who owned that shop and had that plate.

Was it not 40 WAT? I’m sure I saw that in Pentland Terrace area some years ago.

Yeah that makes sense, as it's currently on a new Defender and he was a serial land rover victim owner.

I think  it was on an Escort van when I saw it. Probably 15 years or so ago. Had relatives living there but they moved at least that long ago .

Perfect plate for a white Corsa, even the most ardent AVAS believer will agree that this does BE A CAR.

I always think 'rail replacement' is a misnomer, as it plays little part in replacing rails. 'Train replacement' would be more accurate, IMHO.  See also stations on the railway, rather than train stations.
