You win the opportunity to enter the civic raffle :-)

Raffle hasn't started yet, give it three days.

Oi! I am not Accrington's answer to Wilsonwilson.

This is to keep and either this or the starlet will replace the xantia.

As it stands it needs

Drivers door handle fixing/replacing

Door locks fixing/replacing

New thermostat

Brakes looking at

Aerial replacing as it bangs on roof.

Starting it is a pain as the key has to be just so. Looked on eBay and a full set of locks is £44.

Do you have small feet?

They are far away....

Btw- fucking indicators and wipers are the wrong way round.... Arghhhh

Noice car.

Wife is off to see Jason Donovan at King Georges on the 15th with a group of girlie friends.

Sheesh - a group of 40-odd year olds chucking knickers at some old ozzie popster.

You should have popped past for a Suzuki race.

You would have a whole 1.6 second to spare at 60 :-)

I thought all Japanese cars had wipers and indicators the correct way round.

I do find it confusing switching from Japanese to Italian motors

Starlet is on other side... hence confusion.

I did ponder how difficult it would be to swap back ...

That is the correct way around. Cars (& bikes) made more sense before johnny furrienger made us change things to the wrong sides.

Did you get caught out by the pushing the key into the barrel to remove it thing?

Also a couple of protips:

1) If you want to open the boot with the remote release lever don't close the door properly because if you do the air inside the car rushes out through the boot and it locks closed again.

2) When you arrive somewhere take the key out and chuck it straight in your pocket. Open the door, flip the interior lock and close the door while holding the exterior handle up. No mucking about with the key.

Swift doesnt have the key in thing. Starlet does.

1) I found that yesterday!

2) Have to lock it via passenger door at the moment as drivers door handle is looser than a whores draws doe to OMG Stealinginit

As in you have to push the key in towards the passenger while turning it back towards yourself in order to get it out of the ignition barrel. It's a spring loaded mechanism. Unless the pre-"""""facelift""""" versions don't have this.

Fond memories of doing this on our old Mk2 Fiesta!

So long as you remember not to leave the key in the car!

Some Japanese market cars have the wipers and indicators the correct way round but they switch them around for UK market cars...

Key is like that as it is pretty new. A bit of wear and it should be better. Once you've got the knack it's easy.

Breaks should improve but was stood a long time so discs and pads would probably be beneficial.

Hmmm, 40 odd year old womens knickers  - ummm, naaaah. I'd rather have tins of paint thrown at me.

Yeah, it's a pain in the arse when you have more than one car, one right and one (left) wrong!
