mat_the_cat Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Starting packing, but I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and promptly heading in completely the wrong direction. Anyone on Strava will be able to see what I'll be up to... I expect to be in the field of dreams between 1 and 2 am, so if everyone has gone to bed (ha!) I will endeavour not to wake you up (which may be somewhat tricky with a throbbing V8). RobT 1

Richard Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 And now that I've handed in my hotel key and driven half way to the call out it's been cancelled. On the plus side I should make it to SF after all, but I'm going to have to sleep in the van now. I have done the work for tomorrow on my own time, so I'm going to head straight down the road as soon as the paperwork is signed. purplebargeken, Bucketeer and KruJoe 3

beko1987 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I'm leaving in about 10 mins! I've packed about 4% of the stuff I took to sf 15!
JohnK Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 My plans have not gone to plan. I hoped to do a bit of a collection mission beforehand but that's been postponed. This has left a last minute scramble to get one of my other cars ready to go, after a decision was made on which one to go for I then found out the replacement part needed to get it usable was the wrong one. Some modification later and we are sorted, nearly ready to go! KruJoe, beko1987 and explosive-cabbage 3

Skizzer Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Jaguar has rewarded me for lavishing praise and attention on it by FTPing this morning. Bastard. It's only a flat battery but I've got nothing handy to jump it off, so the battery is now on charge in the house. This will delay departure. I did 40 miles in it happily yesterday so it's not been standing, and I didn't leave the lights on so it appears to be some sort of electrical fault that's drained it. Either that or the alternator has packed in. Joy. JohnK 1
