The only Volvo currently running is the Council Estate and it managed to do in a third of a tank in about 60 miles last week so unfortunately economy has won the battle.

Even I know the Kia isn't fit. One of the rear brake shoes let go and now the friction material has jammed one of the rear wheels solid. Months ago that happened.

I was lazy. My plan was to put it back on the insurance last week but Admiral scuppered those plans.

I refitted the centre console in the Senator this evening (tried changing the heater matrix last week, but it's a dash out job after all) so I'm ready. I'll do it another time, maybe...

 

If anyone wants a lift to Chinnor from the field I'm happy to be chauffeur.

I will probably be coming up on Friday with a bit of luck. I still haven't decided which car to bring though. I was going to bring a moped or 2 but as the 3 I picked up are all seized I will probably leave them at home. So it is either the Peugeot 204 or the Rolls they both have tow bars so can tow the trailer tent ok. I suppose it is all down to the weather. Will there be any 4x4's there or a tractor for when it rains and all the rear wheel drives get stuck.

I'm not going to be able to make it  :-(  :-(  :-( .

 

I've been ill enough to be off work this week, and not going to be fit for 250+ miles at the weekend. So pissed off, especially as lost the cost of my airbnb booking.

I hope some Kent shitters will be up for a local meet a bit later in the year? I'll organise something once I'm feeling well.

It's friday tomorrow for me!

 

No idea what time I'll turn up tbh, Amy and kids are going out so I might sneak a few hours of Dyson refurbishment in to get ahead of myself (and dust off Moog's DC14 that's been sat in the hallways for nearly 2 months...)

 

Doing zip to the car though, it's filthy inside and out, has 3/4 a tank of diesel, I'll empty the crap out of it and it's good to go!

Towing mirrors fitted. Not very well. The RAV4 has unfriendly mirror housings. Have loaded up the boot with tools and fluids, and moved stuff around in the caravan itself for the perfect* weight distrubution. Bloody hell I hate caravans. I'm half tempted to ROFFLE it at Shitefest. How drunk will people need to be to buy tickets?

You would need to get me very drunk, and possibly swap the rav4 for my ZX for towing duties
