Just to add to what everyone else is saying, that's a genuine bargain from what I can see and would do someone well.

Thank heavens for that. If it had remained unsold for another 24 hours I'd have had to come on here and make an excuse for not buying it ;)

Would this steed not suit Bub2000006?

"I would do but had a rectal prolapse this morning. I didn't mean to upset anyone"

"My ex wife's initials are SRI so I couldn't possibly own it. I didn't mean to upset anyone"

"Sorry, but the seats look to much like a can of Allude Sportstar deodorant. I didn't mean to upset anyone"

Soz Bub :-D

Non of the above are true but did raise a grin. I couldn't afford a 2.2 on insurance anyhow. A lot of car for not much cash.

I literally hate this post because that is SOO tempting. I miss my old one even thoigh I scrapped it over 2 years ago. Thats clean as and I bet with some brake work that would batter through the MOT.

However, because wife.

Edit: sold thank fup for that!

Even if you didnt like Vectras it would be worth buying this for the engine and box to put in a certain brown mkI Astra.....Instant MIGweb credibility.

Thank fuck for that.

I bought an Escort estate from CAVCRAFT after seeing their slogan of 'Sub Prime Cars For Sub Prime People' and I found their customer service second to none.

Posted

That Escort Estate sale helped Barbara Cartland gain her employee of the month award.

She sold me the extra paint and tyre insurance for only £12 a month.

She gained the award after showing her dedication to the company by spending all night in the cobweb filled outbuilding around the back welding a sill to the Escort and filling the gearbox with sawdust.

She needs to have her own calendar.

I went to work in this today after having put about £3.87 of petrol in it. Hand on heart, it's flipping ace to drive, though admittedly I've nothing similar to compare it with really. It was smooth, quiet and went like a bomb without trying.

Brakes seemed a little odd at times, I'm possibly being over-sensitive, but first application of them saw them working just not as I would have expected, I'm just used to 'dab and stop' but in fairness wellying it round the lanes it didn't cause any problem with late braking.

The headlights are shit though, I don't know if the lens needs cleaning or they have the wrong bulbs or something, but they effectively stopped me from really going some on my favourite lanes.

He actually has, or did have for 2015.

This is absolutely identical to the SRi that I had back in 2007, apart from mine was a T plate 2.0 140 (with the 'Double D' exhaust a la V6, not the letterbox style like this).

I absolutely loved that car.

Collection of this scheduled for tomorrow.

MOT scheduled for Monday morning to see what's what. I hopefully won't have to do too much to it!

There is simply nowt wrong with them. Clarkson was being a kuunt. Nothing more. He'd been slagging Vauxhall for that long he couldn't back down. You tube his vectra gsi supertouring test.... he loved it.

Those GSis are a lovely bit of kit, I had a met (Krypton?) green facelift one that was ace.
