I got a feckin awful Santa in a Beetle convertible T shirt , which I wore yesterday and will never get worn again.

I also got a dash cam , so hopefully when I work out how to use it will be GR9 for spotting .

I got a 3hp 50ltr compressor from machine mart. Already on my third one! good job santa brought it early. The first on had a kinked pipe I wasn't happy with and the second one tripped my garage breaker then just wouldn't kick in. Got to be fair to them both were exchanged without fuss but it doesn't bode well for the life of the machine.

I got a dash cam, a 1/2 drive torque wrench, a set of ratchet spanners, l.e.d inspection light and l.e.d torch, bearing insertion tools, retro poster adverts that mrs fp put in frames for me, a Haynes coloring book and a custom alloy cam cover for my pinto powered 3 door sierra,

Here's the cam cover

I did quite well this year, largely thanks to my Amazon Wish List.

I got one of these tool chests, which should go some way towards sorting out the shed.

It probably wouldn't last long in daily use but it's ideal for my purposes.

I got a Pela pump and an oil drain can. Oil drain can for when I can be bothered/have time to lie on the ground and it isn't raining, Pela for the other times.

I also got a set of CV clamp pliers, one of these things you can sort of work around not having, but not really satisfactorily.

I got a set of BRILLIANT pressies from my son: a fob watch, heavy thick keyfob, and a zippo lighter all in gold (solid of course!) and engraved with the 'Bentley' wings and logo. Also a mug (with the same) and a 'T' shirt with ' I love my Bentley' on it!

Other than that (and secret Santa) I got sweet fa... the dogs got loads!

I got some new wellies and assorted car crap/bin fodder.

Still didn't ask for anything so shouldn't complain.

Mrs Sills and I have said we will have a weekend away in the summer instead of buying each other presents.

Mrs Rocker bought me some reassuringly expensive vintage die-casts which I am still gazing lovingly at. Also a book by Anthony Gibbs which is politically insensitive, completely at odds with my own opinions but still a bloody good read. She reckons it was only a quid too...

I also got a VW camper book and a much-needed new spirit level for the caravan which might stop the blood rushing to my head every other weekend next year.

Haynes Desk Diary and a brilliant bundle of late 40s AA route guides and country guides. Back then you would write to the AA telling them you wanted to go to such and such place and they would produce a roadbook with maps, waypoints, country details etc. I plan to try and use a couple when I eventually get my Austin 7.

These. The aston is the big whizzwheels version, sadly missing the thug/ejector seat and a bit of bumper. The paint is excellent, if it was mint it would have been out of my price range.

I had majorette when I was young, my best mate had the renault 18 when we were at school but would'nt swap it - cnut. I have never had the BMW or the dyane before.

I am also waiting for another present - a 22" eagle transporter model kit.

I also got the obligatory socks, beer etc. Pity I am working / dying with man flu so I cannot touch anything.

Mr Chapman knows his stuff and isn't unreasonable in his views, for example the Marina gets a fair appraisal (basically it was much better with the lighter engines and after the front suspension changes).

Courtesy of Mike_Knight.  It's great when a useful wish-list item is actually bought, one of the best gifts I've had in quite a while as a result.

Cordless impact gun, 300mm breaker bar, dremel and a calliper gauge. My tyres are due a rotation to looking forward to busting the impact gun out! It's nothing fancy but came with two batteries, a few random sockets and the charge time from flat is only an hour.

These are great, but watch the angle on the airline out of the gauge union - mine managed to split whilst stored in the boot. Only noticed when I had a puncture and the spare was under-pressure. I replaced it with a braided one. Cant fault the pumpage, though.

The only vaguely autoshitey thing I got was this:

No battery recall on THIS hoverboard

Snap, I've only had a quick browse but it looks pretty amusing. The bit about engines which refer to 'the computer decides how much fire to add' made me smile.

No other automotive gifts, most of my rellies give me money to buy things rather than try to second-guess what presents I might want, so I'll sort out some bits I need in the new year.
