This has been abandoned outside my house since a week after I moved in.

Council sticker on it now, on which the owner has written “This is Sorned”. It’s full of rot so will probably never see another MoT.

Clearly doesn’t know what SORN means if it’s abandoned on the public highway.

I didn't even know they made an estate version of that.

Only ever seen a couple of these and they were estates. Is there a Saloon?  Rare over here which ever version - I feel sad for this one though.

This poor MK1 Golf is still in the same spot I first saw it 5 years ago, it's next door to a relative's house. I wonder how bad it will get before they go from "gonna do it up M8" to it being hi-abed off the drive?

This has been sitting on one of my mates driveway for at least 15 years now, his Dad will not sell it (I have tried & tried to buy this)  the mileage is genuine also.

it’s looking worse for wear now (as you will be able to see)

Our local multi-storey car park has featured this sitting 'B for 3+ years. Must be costing the owner a fortune in parking...

Gonna do it up, or sentimental reasons?

It’s probably sentimental reasons now, as it’s been sitting there for so long now.

but, I have tried for years to get him to sell it to me, the pictures were taken last year (when I tried again to get him to sell it).

I'm amazed that hasn't been tipped over.

The amount of shite inside it may make it a bit heavy for a easy push over - Houses very close too. They dont miss much there as a neighbour came out hoping I was council photographing it to arrange its removal. They also pointed out another one sawn up / Strewn across a nearby area but I ha no time to nip over to that one.

It's on an axle stand, and the exhaust looks to be hanging down. Has someone done some work on it there or pulled the engine and gearbox and now abandoned it?
